Francis Patrick Anderson (2 May 1916 – 29 January 1971) was an Australian rules footballer who played with North Melbourne in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Jack Anderson (footballer, Born 1909)
Jack Anderson (3 March 1909 – 29 June 1982) was an Australian rules footballer who played with St Kilda in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Family Jack was the older brother of North Melbourne player, Frank Anderson. Football In 1930, Mr. Jack Anderson - Balldale FC, tied for the Peace Medal for the best and fairest player award in the Corowa & District Football Association with W. Hall of Howlong FC. Anderson made his debut for St.Kilda in round eight, 1931 against Footscray at the Junction Oval, eventually playing 42 games and kicking 46 goals between 1931 and 1933. He represented Victoria at the National Football Carnival in 1933. Balldale
Balldale is a village in the mid-southern part of the Riverina in New South Wales, Australia. It is about north-east of Corowa and about west of Brocklesby. Balldale was established when the large farm holding of the Quat Quatta Estate was sub-divided in the early 1900s, and named in honour of local politician Richard Ball (1857-1937). Balldale Post Office opened on 1 June 1905. The Balldale Hotel was built in 1905 by Albert Beard. Balldale Football Club Balldale FC commenced played in the following Australian Rules Football competitions in 1906, in the green and black colours initially, before the club eventually folded in 1977. Corowa
Corowa is a town in the state of New South Wales in Australia. It is on the bank of the Murray River, the border between New South Wales and Victoria, opposite the Victorian town of Wahgunyah. It is the largest town in the Federation Council and was the administrative centre of the former Corowa Shire. The name could have derived from an Aboriginal word referring to the curra pine which yielded gum used by Aboriginal people to fasten the heads of spears to the shafts. Camberwell Football Club
Camberwell Football Club was an Australian rules football club which formed around the mid-1880s, with a published match in 1886 and competed in the Victorian Football Association (VFA) between 1926 and 1990. Nicknamed the Cobras, Camberwell wore blue, white and red club colours. They were based in the Melbourne suburb of Camberwell. The Australian Football League (AFL) is the only fully professional competition of Australian rules football.
