Franco Lo Cascio
Luca Damiano (born Franco Lo Cascio; 29 August 1946) is an Italian film director. Born in Rome, Lo Cascio started his career as the assistant director of Fernando Di Leo in almost all the films he directed between 1967 and 1974. In 1974, he made his directorial debut with the parody film ''Piedino il questurino'' starring Franco Franchi. After having directed a number of comedies and the supernatural thriller ''Un urlo dalle tenebre'' in 1976, Lo Cascio withdrew from directing to focus on his distribution company "Patrizia Cinematografica" he founded together with Diego Spadaro. In 1984, he adopted his stage name Luca Damiano and directed and produced numerous pornographic films. Fernando Di Leo
Fernando Di Leo (11 January 1932 – 2 December 2003) was an Italian film director and screenwriter, script writer. He made 17 films as a director and about 50 scripts from 1964 to 1985. Biography Fernando Di Leo was born on 11 January 1932 in San Ferdinando di Puglia. After briefly working in a Rome's film school Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, di Leo made his debut as a director as part of the omnibus comedy ''Gli eroi di ieri, oggi, domani'' with his episode titled ''Un posto in paradiso'' (). Following this Di Leo wrote several scripts for Westerns, often uncredited. This included work on ''A Fistful of Dollars'' and ''For a Few Dollars More''. Some of his Westerns had uncredited literary sources, such as ''Days of Vengeance'' which as loosely based on Alexandre Dumas' ''The Count of Monte Cristo''. Franco Franchi (born Francesco Benenato; 18 September 1928 – 9 December 1992) was an Italian actor, comedian and singer. He was born in Palermo, Sicily and began his career in the 1950s, although his career only really took off in the 1960s. He starred in many comedies, mainly appearing together with Ciccio Ingrassia as the comedy duo Franco and Ciccio, but also in more dramatic material such as Luigi Comencini's ''Adventures of Pinocchio'' (1972), in which they paired memorably as the Fox and the Cat.
