Francis Stronge
Sir Francis William Stronge (22 November 1856 – 20 August 1924), was a senior British diplomat and the second son of Sir John Calvert Stronge and Lady Margaret Stronge. Sir Francis never inherited the baronetcy but was later knighted in his own right. Biography Born to a distinguished Irish family in Balleskie, Fife,"Obituary. Sir Francis Stronge." He served as sub-lieutenant in the regiment, resigning his commission in 1876. He was appointed Consul General for Hungary in 1903 and in 1904 was promoted to the post of Councillor of Embassy in Constantinople. Henry Lane Wilson (November 3, 1857 – December 22, 1932) was an American attorney who was appointed by President William Howard Taft to the post of United States Ambassador to Mexico in 1910. He brought together opponents of Mexico's democratically-elected President Francisco I. Madero in the Pact of the Embassy, colluding with them to stage a coup d'etat in February 1913. Soon after President Woodrow Wilson took office in March 1913, he was appalled to learn that the American ambassador was involved in the plot in which the president and vice president of Mexico were murdered. Castleconnell (, historically ''Caisleán Uí Chonaing'') is a village in County Limerick on the banks of the River Shannon. It is from Limerick city and near the boundaries of counties Clare and Tipperary. Sir W G Armstrong Whitworth & Co Ltd was a major British manufacturing company of the early years of the 20th century. HMS ''Eagle'' was an early aircraft carrier of the Royal Navy. Ordered by Chile during the South American dreadnought race as the ''Almirante Cochrane'', she was laid down before World War I. ''Almirante Latorre'', named after Juan José Latorre, was a super-dreadnought battleship built for the Chilean Navy (''Armada de Chile''). It was the first of a planned two-ship class that would respond to earlier warship purchases by other South American countries.
