Francis Reyes
Francis Florentino Saludo Reyes (born June 20, 1967 in Lipa City, Batangas) is a Filipino musician. He is best known for being the guitarist for the Filipino rock band the Dawn. He was the chief radio announcer and musical director for the rock station NU107.5 FM who used the on-air stage name Francis Brew. He was also the editor of ''Billboard Philippines'', which was launched in 2016. Early years Reyes was born and raised in Lipa City, the second child of Florante Luz Reyes, a photographer, and Teresita Marquinez Saludo, a housewife. His youth was not particularly musical and his on-stage experiences were focused on oratorical contests which he regularly won. Lipa City
Lipa (), officially the City of Lipa ( fil, Lungsod ng Lipa), is a 1st class component city in the province of Batangas, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 372,931 people. Atsushi Matsuura (musician)
is a Japanese guitarist born in Shiojiri, Nagano, Japan. He currently resides in the Philippines. Early life Matsuura attended primary school at the Manila Japanese School, an exclusive school for children of Japanese expatriates in the Philippines at that time. He went back to his home country for senior high. He transferred to the International School in Manila a year after, where he graduated in 1986. He again returned to Japan and attended Sophia University in Tokyo for college. Music came naturally to Matsuura. His grandfather played violin and his mom, Hiroko Matsuura the piano. Teodoro "Teddy" de Villa Diaz (1 April 1963 – 21 August 1988) was a Filipino people, Filipino musician and composer, best known as the founder and original guitarist of The Dawn (band), The Dawn. As a composer, he co-wrote the band's first single "Enveloped Ideas (song), Enveloped Ideas" and their well-known hit "''Salamat''", which was released posthumously in 1989. He played guitar on the albums ''The Dawn (album), The Dawn'' (1986) and ''I Stand With You'' (1988). Aside from being a guitarist, he played keyboards as credited on The Dawn's 1986 debut album.
