Francis Guinan
Francis V. Guinan Jr. (born November 17, 1951) is an American film, television and stage actor who is perhaps best known for his role as Edgar Teller the patriarch in the short-lived series ''Eerie, Indiana''. The Council Bluffs, Iowa-born actor has made guest appearances in many notable television series including ''Grey's Anatomy'', ''CSI: Miami'', ''Law & Order'', ''CSI: NY'', ''Without a Trace'', ''The Practice'', ''Crossing Jordan'', ''Star Trek: Enterprise'', '' Star Trek: Voyager'', ''That '70s Show'', ''Nash Bridges'', ''Sliders'', ''Murder, She Wrote'', ''Frasier'', ''Mike & Molly'' and other series. He has been a member of the Steppenwolf Theatre Company ensemble since 1979. In December 2007, Guinan co-starred in the Tracy Letts' play '' August: Osage County'' which opened on Broadway to critical acclaim. Eerie, Indiana
''Eerie, Indiana'' is an American horror science fiction television series that originally aired on NBC from September 15, 1991, to December 09, 1993. The series was created by José Rivera and Karl Schaefer, with Joe Dante serving as creative consultant. A total of nineteen episodes were produced. The final episode aired for the first time in 1993, when the series was syndicated on The Disney Channel. The show was rerun on The Disney Channel from October 7, 1993 to late March 1996. In 1997, the show generated a new fan base, when the Fox Kids Network aired the series on Saturday mornings from January to September, gaining something of a cult following despite its short run. Steppenwolf Theatre Company
Steppenwolf Theatre Company is a Chicago theatre company founded in 1974 by Terry Kinney, Jeff Perry, and Gary Sinise in the Unitarian church on Half Day Road in Deerfield, Illinois and is now located in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood on Halsted Street. The theatre's name comes from Hermann Hesse's novel '' Steppenwolf'', which original member Rick Argosh was reading during the company's inaugural production of Paul Zindel's play, '' And Miss Reardon Drinks a Little'', in 1974. ''Rock Hudson'' is a 1990 American biographical drama television film directed by John Nicolella and written by Dennis Turner. The film is based on ''My Husband, Rock Hudson'', a 1987 autobiography by Phyllis Gates, actor Rock Hudson's wife (1955–1958). It is the story of their marriage, written after Hudson's 1985 death from AIDS. It is about two brothers who, after being forced off their farm in the debt stricken Midwestern United States, become folk heroes when they begin robbing the banks that have been foreclosing on farmers.
