Francesco Di Giacomo
Francesco Di Giacomo ( 22 August 194721 February 2014) was an Italian singer and lyricist. He was the lead vocalist of the progressive rock band Banco del Mutuo Soccorso from 1971 to 2013. Life and career Born in La Caletta, a frazione of Siniscola, at 5 years old Di Giacomo moved to Rome with his family. He knew keyboardist Vittorio Nocenzi during the 1971 , and they formed the progressive rock band Banco del Mutuo Soccorso, which made its recording debut one year later, getting critical acclaim and commercial success. Di Giacomo served as lead vocalist as well as lyricist for most of the group's repertoire. His solo collaborations include Sam Moore, Eugenio Finardi, Elio e le Storie Tese, , Piotta (singer), Piotta, Edoardo De Angelis (singer-songwriter), Edoardo De Angelis and . La Caletta
La Caletta is a small town, a harbour and a tourist destination in Sardinia, Italy. Caletta means a small bay or little harbour. The town is located approximately 50 km south of Olbia, in the administrative territory of Siniscola (province of Nuoro), on the Tyrrhenian coast of the island. An ancient village of fishermen, its small gulf has been transformed in the 1970s into a touristic harbour, and recently renewed and enlarged. Edoardo De Angelis (born 24 December 1945) is an Italian singer-songwriter and record producer. ''Amarcord'' () is a 1973 comedy-drama film directed by Federico Fellini, a semi-autobiographical tale about Titta, an adolescent boy growing up among an eccentric cast of characters in the village of Borgo San Giuliano (situated near the ancient walls of Rimini) in 1930s Fascist Italy.
