Francesco Franceschi (March 2, 1843 – November 27, 1924) – known in Italy by his title and birth name of ''Cavalier'' Emanuele Orazio Fenzi – was an Italian banker and horticulturist who spent part of his later career in the United States, where his efforts contributed to the introduction of new plant species in southern California. Early life Cavalier. Emanuele Orazio Fenzi was born on March 12, 1843, in Florence, Italy to Orazio Fenzi (1817–1850) and Countess Emilia della Gherardesca (1801–1850), the former being a member of the wealthy Fenzi family involved in banking and railroads. He was the grandson of Emanuele Fenzi, and he was raised at Palazzo Fenzi by his grandparents following the early death of his parents. Michel Vergé-Franceschi (born 28 October 1951, Toulon) is a French naval historian. Biography Michel Vergé-Franceschi started teaching History in secondary education at Le Havre (1975-1986) at collège Viviani, at the Lycée polyvalent Claude Monet, at the Lycée régional François 1er and at the Lycée Corneille in Rouen, Normandy, where he was also responsible for the academic plan for teaching History. Joshua James Alphonse Franceschi (born 7 August 1990) is an English singer and songwriter. He is lead vocalist of rock band You Me at Six. Early life Josh was born to parents Anne Franceschi and Christian Franceschi in Weybridge, Surrey. He is of Corsican-French (paternal) descent. He has one sister, Elissa Franceschi who is also a vocalist. He lived in Cyprus in his early childhood, but later moved to Twickenham to live with his grandmother. Francesco Franceschi
Francesco Franceschi (died c. 1599) was a printer in the Italian Renaissance. His roots were in Siena, though the bulk of his work was done in Venice. Franceschi was known for the high quality of his engravings, which were done using metal plates rather than wooden, a common inexpensive alternative in the period. Evelyn Tribble describes in detail his 1565 edition of Ludovico Ariosto's '' Orlando Furioso'', which was influential for some English publishers, and which is heavily and ornately illustrated, including an engraving before every canto and an engraved frame surrounding the argument (Tribble 88). Franceschi was also known for printing music. Background After Shigeo Satomura who detected for the first time the blood flow with a Doppler Ultrasound machine, Gene Strandness measured the blood pressure at the ankle (1967), Léandre Pourcelot proposed the Arterial resistivity index (1974), and Gosling the Pulsatility index (1974). Claude Franceschi then tried to analyze more exactly the hemodynamic meaning of the Doppler signal wave from normal and diseased vessels. Juan "Papo" Franceschi (12 January 1947 – 20 October 1990), was a Puerto Rican track and field athlete from Ponce, Puerto Rico. Biography Juan "Papo" Franceschi was born in Barrio San Anton, Ponce, Puerto Rico, on 12 January 1947. Franceschi Vega was known as "El Bolido de San Antón". He was a cousin of Otoniel Velez Franceschi, and a track and field runner in Puerto Rico, participating in the 1966 X Juegos CAC Games where he won a gold medal in the 400 meters with a time of 46.7, a new record in the Games. He also won Bronze in the long relay ("relevo largo"). In 1967 he won fourth place at the Panamerican Games in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, with a score of 46.09.
