Francesca Neri (born 10 February 1964) is an Italian actress. Biography Neri was born in Trento, Italy. She has twice received the Silver Ribbon Award for Best Actress from the Italian National Syndicate of Film Journalists, for ''Pensavo fosse amore, invece era un calesse'', directed by Massimo Troisi (1991) and ''Carne trémula'' ''(Live Flesh)'' (1997). She has also received three nominations for the David di Donatello Award, as Best Actress in ''Il dolce rumore della vita'' and ''Io amo Andrea'' (both 1999) and as Best Supporting Actress for ''La felicità non costa niente'' (2003). A blockbuster is a work of entertainment—typically used to describe a feature film produced by a major film studio, but also other media—that is highly popular and financially successful. The term has also come to refer to any large-budget production ''intended'' for "blockbuster" status, aimed at mass markets with associated merchandising, sometimes on a scale that meant the financial fortunes of a film studio or a distributor could depend on it. The term originated from the Blockbuster bomb which were used in World War II. The Flaiano Prizes ( it, Premi Flaiano) are a set of Italian international awards recognizing achievements in the fields of creative writing, cinema, theater and radio-television.
