Fédération Française De Natation
The French Swimming Federation (french: Fédération française de natation, FFN) is the French water sports association, founded in February 1919, grouping the sports swimming clubs, open water swimming, synchronized swimming, diving and French water polo, which organizes the national competitions and the selection of French teams. In 2017, the Federation has 316,905 members. The FFN is a member of the European Swimming League (LEN) and the International Swimming Federation (Fina). Since April 2017, the FFN is chaired by Gilles Sezionale. Water Polo At The 2023 World Aquatics Championships – Women's Tournament
The women's water polo tournament at the 2023 World Aquatics Championships was held from 16 to 28 July 2023. This was the 16th time that the women's water polo tournament has been played since the first edition in 1986. Netherlands won their second title after defeating Spain in the final. Qualification Due the limited budget and the proximity of the date of the championship with the 2023 Pan American Games, Brazil withdrew before the tournament and was replaced by Argentina. 2022 Women's European Water Polo Championship
The 2022 Women's European Water Polo Championship was the 19th running of the tournament. It was held in the Spaladium Arena in Split, Croatia from 27 August to 10 September 2022. Spain won their third title by defeating Greece in the final, while Italy captured the bronze medal with a win over the Netherlands. Venues LEN announced on 28 August 2020 that Split, Croatia would host the 2022 edition of the competition. All games were played at the Spaladium Arena. The 2020 Women's European Water Polo Championship was the 18th edition of the major European water polo tournament for national teams. It was held at the Danube Arena in Budapest, Hungary, from 12 to 25 January 2020. Spain defeated Russia 13–12 in the final to win their second title. The 2018 Women's European Water Polo Championship was held from 14 to 27 July 2018 in Barcelona, Spain. The Netherlands won their fifth title by defeating Greece 6-4 in the final. Spain captured the bronze medal after a 12-6 win over Hungary. Qualification Twelve teams were allowed to the tournament.
