Fran McNulty
Fran McNulty (born 10 December 1979, Ireland) is a television presenter with the Irish National Broadcaster RTÉ. Fran is a native of County Longford. Since 2005 McNulty has been a regular presenter on television and on radio programmes ''Morning Ireland'', '' This Week'' and '' News at One''. He is an multi award-winning reporter, who spent several years working in local radio and print before joining RTÉ. He has worked across Television, online and Radio with RTÉ and often reports from overseas on major international stories. As well as covering Papal funerals and conclaves in Rome, in 2013 he covered the funeral of Nelson Mandela presenting a special edition of Morning Ireland from Johannesburg. The Irish journalist interviewed members of the Mandela family and former South African President Thabo Mbeki during his visits to South Africa. Morning Ireland
''Morning Ireland'' is the breakfast news programme broadcast by RTÉ Radio 1 in Ireland and is noted as that country's most listened to radio programme. It is broadcast each weekday morning between 07.00 and 09.00 and alternate items are normally presented by two presenters from the current rota, which included Audrey Carville, Rachael English, Gavin Jennings and Fran McNulty as of Cathal Mac Coille's retirement in 2017. Occasional weekend editions are also aired on the occasion of major breaking news stories such as general elections, referendums or important news events. ''This Week'' is a news and current affairs radio programme broadcast on RTÉ Radio 1. It airs Sundays between 1300 and 1400. The programme is presented by RTE's former political correspondent David McCullagh, former Washington-based US correspondent Carole Coleman and political reporter Justin McCarthy. The programme is edited by former investigative reporter John Burke. The new programme team was announced by RTE on 3 September 2018, as reported in the Irish Independent and Irish Times. The programme's previous presenters were Brian Dowling and Colm O Mongain. ''RTÉ News at One'' is a news and current affairs programme broadcast on RTÉ Radio 1. It airs Monday to Friday for 45 minutes at 1:00pm. The programme is presented by Bryan Dobson. An extended news bulletin takes up the first few minutes of the programme. This is then typically followed by a series of interviews. It finishes with sports news, business news, and a summary of news from around the regions. ''Prime Time'' is an Irish current affairs television programme airing on RTÉ One on Tuesday and Thursday nights (following the '' RTÉ Nine O'Clock News''). First broadcast on RTÉ One in 1992, Miriam O'Callaghan has been its main presenter for over fifteen years. Only one show per week is broadcast during the summer months. Miriam O'Callaghan (media Personality)
Miriam O'Callaghan (born 6 January 1960) is an Irish television current affairs presenter with RTÉ. O'Callaghan has presented '' Prime Time'' since 1996, and her own summer talk show, '' Saturday Night with Miriam'', from 2005 onwards. In the summer of 2009, she began a radio show, '' Miriam Meets...'', since replaced by live show ''Sunday with Miriam''. She is also the first woman to present a full episode of '' The Late Late Show'', having done so amid a global pandemic when Ryan Tubridy was quarantined with (initially) suspected symptoms of the Covid-19 virus. Sarah McInerney (born 2 April 1981) is an Irish radio and TV presenter and reporter, notable for her work with RTÉ, TV3 / Virgin Media One and Newstalk, and a print journalist, notably having worked with the Sunday Tribune and the Sunday Times.
