Fragile (film)
''Fragile'' ( es, link=no, Frágiles) is a 2005 Spanish-British horror film directed by Jaume Balagueró. Plot On the Isle of Wight, a train accident on the Island Line means that the main hospital, St. James's, is completely full and unable to take in any more patients. A smaller and older hospital, Mercy Falls, is being closed down, but some of the patients, including the children's ward, need to remain at the site until there is availability elsewhere. One of the children, Maggie, an orphan suffering from severe cystic fibrosis, tells the night nurse, Susan, that she has seen "her" again, frightening Susan. Another child, Simon, suffers a broken leg and is rushed to the X-ray department. No one knows how his leg broke but as Simon lies on the X-ray table, his femur inexplicably suffers a second fracture. Susan leaves the hospital on sick leave and Amy Nicholls replaces her. Fragile (Sting Song)
"Fragile" is a song written and performed by English musician Sting from his second studio album '' ...Nothing Like the Sun''. Released as a single the following year, it placed to number 70 on the UK Singles Chart. Sung additionally in both Spanish and Portuguese under the titles "Fragilidad" and "Fragil", it appeared twice more on his 1988 EP variant of the album, ''Nada como el sol''. The Spanish version features as a b-side to "I'm So Happy I Can't Stop Crying". The song is a tribute to Ben Linder, an American civil engineer who was killed by the Contras in 1987 while working on a hydroelectric project in Nicaragua. "Fragile" was the opening song in Sting's '' ...All This Time'' concert, recorded on the evening of the September 11 attacks in 2001. A material is brittle if, when subjected to stress, it fractures with little elastic deformation and without significant plastic deformation. The Fragile States Index (FSI; formerly the Failed States Index) is an annual report published by the United States think tank the Fund for Peace and the American magazine ''Foreign Policy'' from 2005 to 2018, then by The New Humanitarian since 2019. The list aims to assess states' vulnerability to conflict or collapse, ranking all sovereign states with membership in the United Nations where there is enough data available for analysis. Taiwan, the Palestinian Territories, Northern Cyprus, Kosovo and Western Sahara are not ranked, despite being recognized as sovereign by one or more other nations. Ranking is based on the sum of scores for 12 indicators (see below). Each indicator is scored on a scale of 0 to 10, with 0 being the lowest intensity (most stable) and 10 being the highest intensity (least stable), creating a scale spanning 0−120. Jean Paul Gaultier (; born 24 April 1952) is a French haute couture and prêt-à-porter fashion designer. ''Cut Loose'' is the 1983 debut solo album by Paul Rodgers, of Free and Bad Company fame. Unlike his other work, Rodgers plays all the instruments on this album.
