''Fossora'' is the tenth studio album by Icelandic singer-musician Björk. It was released on 30 September 2022 through One Little Independent Records. The album was recorded mainly during the COVID-19 pandemic and centers around the theme of isolation, loss, and grief, mainly of the death of her mother, Hildur Runa Hauksdóttir, in 2018. Commercially, the album debuted at number 11 on the UK Albums Chart and at number 100 on the US ''Billboard'' 200. It received a nomination for Best Alternative Music Album at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards, becoming Björk's ninth consecutive nomination in the category. "Ovule" is a song by Icelandic musician Björk, released on 14 September 2022 as the second single from her tenth studio album ''Fossora''. The song was written and produced by Björk, who also arranged the trombones and timpani. "Atopos" is a song by Icelandic musician Björk featuring Kasimyn of Indonesian duo Gabber Modus Operandi, released on 6 September 2022 as the lead single from Björk's tenth studio album ''Fossora''. The song was co-written by Björk and Kasimyn, and premiered on BBC Radio 6 Music. Background Björk announced the song's release date on her social media on 5 September 2022, calling it "like ''Fossora''s passport" and describing it as "Sonically a heavy bottom-ended bass world. ''Country Creatures'' is a collaborative Remix album, remix extended play (EP) by Icelandic musician Björk; Swedish musician Karin Dreijer under their alias Fever Ray; and electronic music duo the Knife, consisting of Dreijer and their brother, DJ and record producer Olof Dreijer. The three remixes were initially released digitally as individual singles on 6 September 2019 followed by a limited edition 12" vinyl by One Little Indian Records released on 1 November 2019. Josiah Wise (born July 9, 1988), known professionally as serpentwithfeet, is an experimental musician based in Brooklyn, New York City. Wise released the EP ''Blisters'' in 2016, his debut studio album ''soil'' in 2018, his second EP ''Apparition'' in 2020, and his second studio album ''Deacon'' in 2021. Early life Wise was raised in Baltimore, Maryland. He grew up in a religious family; his father owned a Christian bookstore and his mother was a choir director. Wise joined the church choir as a child and grew up with classical and gospel music as a primary influence. When he was 11 years old his mother asked him if he wanted to audition for the Maryland State Boychoir and he refused, so she signed him up anyway and he ended up loving it.
