Fort Wayne Fever
Fort Wayne Fever was an American soccer team based in Fort Wayne, Indiana, United States. Founded in 2003, the team played in the USL Premier Development League (PDL), the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid, until 2009, after which the franchise folded and the team left the league. The Fever, in 2013, merged in to Citadel Futbol Club into Fort Wayne United The team played its home games at Hefner Stadium. The team's colors were white and black. The team had a sister organization, Fort Wayne Fever (W-League), which played in the W-League. Hefner Stadium
Hefner Soccer Complex (also known as Hefner Stadium, and Hefner Fields) is a large group of soccer fields located in Fort Wayne, Indiana. It is named after David J. Hefner, the late son of William J. and Bonnie L. Hefner, local philanthropists. The complex consists of 14 fields highlighted by a 2,000-seat stadium. The complex is used by Purdue University Fort Wayne soccer teams, known as the Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons, and the Fort Wayne Fever of the USL Premier Development League. Events National Soccer Festival is staged at the complex, celebrating the sport of soccer on the collegiate level, with such activities as golf outings, live entertainment, and food vendors. Cleveland Internationals was an American soccer team based in Cleveland, Ohio, United States. Founded in 2004, the team played in the USL Premier Development League (PDL), the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid, in the Great Lakes Division of the Central Conference. The franchise folded at the end of the 2010 season and left the league thereafter. The team played its home games at the Pinnacle Sports Complex in nearby Medina, Ohio. John Michael Hayden
John Michael Hayden (born April 27, 1984 in Louisville, Kentucky) is a former American soccer player and current head coach of the men's team of the University of Louisville. Playing career Youth and college Hayden attended Trinity High School in Louisville, where he played on the school soccer team. He was a two-time Parade Magazine All-American and was the 2000–01 Kentucky Gatorade Player of the Year. Hayden played college soccer at Indiana University. After redshirting his freshman season, Hayden began to see regular time with the Hoosiers in 2003. A lance is a spear designed to be used by a mounted warrior or cavalry soldier ( lancer).
