Forney High School
Forney High School is a public secondary school located in Forney, Texas, Forney, Texas, United States. It is one of two high schools in the Forney Independent School District which serves Forney, Talty, Texas, Talty, the small Kaufman County, Texas, Kaufman County portion of Mesquite, Texas, Mesquite, and some surrounding unincorporated areas of Kaufman County. Because of immense growth over the past years, a bond was approved to begin construction of a second high school in May 2007. US Highway 80 serves as the boundary between the two high schools. Beginning in 2009, North Forney High School only housed freshmen and sophomores so the first graduating class will be in 2012. In 2011, the school was rated "Texas Education Agency accountability ratings system, Academically Acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency. City Bank Stadium
City Bank Stadium is the home stadium of the Forney Jackrabbits and the North Forney Falcons and is located on the campus of Forney High School. It is primarily used by the NFHS football, FHS football, soccer and track teams. The first game played in City Bank Stadium was a football game pitting the Forney Jackrabbits against the Mesquite Horn Jaguars in which the Jackrabbits were soundly defeated. John Wiley Price (born April 24, 1950) is a Democratic politician in Dallas, Texas. He has been the Dallas County Commissioner for District 3 since January 1, 1985. He campaigns as "Our Man Downtown".
