Formula Renault 2000 Scandinavia
The Formula Renault 2.0 Sweden is a Formula Renault 2.0 championship held in Denmark, Finland and Sweden between 2002 and 2006, and later since 2009. It has served as a support series to the Danish Touring Car Championship and Swedish Touring Car Championship. This championship was formerly named Formula Renault 2000 Scandinavia until 2005 and Formula Renault 2.0 Nordic Series in 2006. The Formula Renault 2.0 Finland ran from 2008 until 2010. Formula Renault are classes of formula racing popular in Europe and elsewhere. Regarded as an entry-level series to motor racing, it was founded in 1971, and was a respected series where drivers can learn advanced racecraft before moving on to higher formulas. Renault now backs the French F4 Championship and Formula Regional European Championship. The World Series by Renault once included Formula Renault 3.5 before becoming World Series Formula V8 3.5 in 2016, then folding in 2017. P1 Motorsport (Finland)
P1 Motorsport was a British racing team based in Norfolk, England. They currently compete in the World Series by Renault. For 2013 the team was purchased by Strakka Racing owner-driver Nick Leventis and was renamed P1 by Strakka Racing. British Formula 3 The team was founded in 1990 by British former Brabham and Lotus F1 engineer Roly Vincini under the name P1 Motorsport and Engineering. In 1992, they entered the British Formula 3 Championship with a three-car team, running under the P1 Racing banner. In their debut season, they finished fifth in the Drivers' championship. Jesse Krohn
Jesse Kurki-Suonio (born 3 September 1990), more commonly known as Jesse Krohn, is a Finnish professional racing driver, and BMW Motorsport works driver. He is notable for winning the Finnish, Northern European Zone (NEZ) and Estonian Formula Renault championships. Krohn comes from a motorsport central family, with his father, Pertti, competing in the 1987 Finnish Formula Ford championship alongside 1998 and 1999 Formula One world champion Mika Häkkinen whilst his sister, Jenni, and brother, Oskari also compete in motorsport professionally in Finland.
