Formula Masters Russia
Formula Masters Russia (formerly known as Formula Russia) - is a single-seater racing series based in Russia. The series was created in 2011 as an analogue of Formula Abarth. The primary goal of the project is to find most talented young pilots and to prepare them for their big future in Formula One. Each pilot (or team) is provided with engineers and mechanics. All teams use Tatuus FA010 chassis. Main conditions and benefits * Organizers help pilots in finding their sponsors * Commercial organizations can create their own teams * Each pilot discusses settings of his or her car with team engineer * A single stock of spare parts * A single supplier of tires * A single supplier of petrol, oil and lubricants Results All drivers were Russian-registered. Tatuus
Tatuus is an Italian chassis manufacturer for a series of formula racing series, being first founded in 1980. The company is known for its association with Renault Sport for its production of the Formula Renault chassis. History The Tatuus company was founded by Artico Sandonà in 1980. The first cars were manufactured for the 500cc and 1000cc Formula Monza championship. Founder Sandona was one of the drivers in the Formula Monza championship. Luca Melgrati won the first championship for Tatuus in 1983 in the Formula Panda Monza championship. Sandona achieved a second place in the championship. Tatuus were the team and chassis to beat. Melgrati won the championship again in 1985 and 1986. For the 1988 season the Italian manufacturer was contracted to build the cars for the new Formula König. Formula Abarth was an open wheel racing series based in Italy and Europe aimed at karting graduates. The inaugural season was in 2010, effectively replacing the Formula Azzurra. Abarth have taken over the supporting Project Youth initiative, that started in 2005.'
