Formula 4 CEZ Championship
Formula 4 CEZ Championship is a formula racing series regulated according to FIA Formula 4 regulations. The championship is organized and promoted by the Automobile Club of the Czech Republic (ACCR; ) and Krenek Motorsport. The championship was started in 2022 as a trophy, and gained championship status in 2023. History The championship was planned to be inaugurated in 2022, however it was held as a trophy due to the massive delivery delays of cars. For 2023, the championship was firstly named as ACCR Czech Formula, then it was named as Formula 4 CEZ Championship after the FIA certification. Cars Italian race car constructor Tatuus is contracted to design and build all the cars. The chassis is a monocoque made of carbon fibre. The 2024 Formula 4 CEZ Championship is the second season of the Formula 4 CEZ Championship, a motor racing series for the Central Europe regulated according to FIA Formula 4 regulations, and organised and promoted by the Automobile Club of the Czech Republic (ACCR), Krenek Motorsport anHM Sports The season commenced on 27 April at Balaton Park Circuit in Hungary and will conclude on 22 September at Salzburgring in Austria. Balaton Park Circuit
Balaton Park Circuit is a motor racing circuit located near Balatonfőkajár, Hungary, southwest of Budapest. The track is designed to host regional and international races. The circuit was opened in May 2023. History The main phase of construction for the Balaton Park started in 2019. The racetrack is owned by a private group of investors led by former racecar drier Chanoch Nissany. The project was financed using the investors' own equity, without any involvement from banks or external funding. The Masaryk circuit ( cz, Masarykův okruh) or Masarykring, also referred to as the Brno Circuit, refers to two motorsport race tracks located in Brno, Czech Republic. Autodrom Most
Autodrom Most is a hard-surfaced long race track for motorsport outside of the city of Most in the northwest of the Czech Republic. The racing circuit was built between 1978 and 1983, but the Most district was known for organizing motorcycle and car races earlier. Autodrome is used for races of cars, trucks, motorcycles and free circuit rides, but also for test rides of developed cars, training of drivers of fire engines, ambulance and police cars, as well as training of drivers in crisis situations, etc. In April 2021, the Most round was announced as being added into the Superbike World Championship series with a five-year agreement. Automotodróm Slovakia Ring
Automotodróm Slovakia Ring is a motor racing circuit in Orechová Potôň, Dunajská Streda District in Slovakia, approximately away from Bratislava Airport. It was built between 2008 and 2009. Description New Zealand race car driver Matt Halliday suggested that the rear engine Porsches struggled with Slovakia Ring's long radius corners with much less front aerodynamics than the other cars. A major feature of the circuit is a prominent hump on one of the straights that causes some cars to fly with the front wheels off the ground. Only one car has flipped over entirely and crashed after going over the hump at a high speed. Prior to start of the 2014 season the hump between turns 2 and 3 was rebuilt.
