''Forgotten Toys'' is the debut studio album by David Paich, keyboardist/vocalist of the American rock band Toto. In 2022, Paich announced his debut solo album and it was released by the Players Club ( Mascot Label Group) on August 19, 2022. On June 9, 2022, he released the first single titled "Spirit of the Moonrise". Paich said he plans to release more in the future and he has "some stuff lying around here", and is often "slow" because he is "methodical and a perfectionist, sometimes too much...". Background During the initial COVID-19 lockdowns in 2020, Paich revisited some old songs and ideas that he had "carried in his head for years". This is where the title of the album comes from. This album features Joseph Williams as co-producer and sometimes co-vocalist, Steve Lukather, Brian Eno, Michael McDonald, Ray Parker Jr., Don Felder, and Steve Jordan. Bernie Grundman
Bernie Grundman is an American audio engineer. He is most known for his mastering work and his studio, Bernie Grundman Mastering, which he opened in 1984 in Hollywood. The studio, which includes engineers Chris Bellman, Patricia Sullivan, and Mike Bozzi, mastered 37 projects which received Grammy Award nominations in 2005. In 1997 he opened a studio in Tokyo. Ken Freeman (composer)
Ken Freeman (born 1946) is a prominent English composer and session musician, primarily playing piano and synthesisers. He is most prominently known for his work playing most of the synthesisers on ''Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of the Worlds'', and also as the composer of the theme music for BBC television's ''Casualty'' and ''Holby City''. His session career has included work with artists including Justin Hayward, David Essex and Elkie Brooks. William Wyman Sherwood (born March 14, 1965) is an American multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, singer, record producer and mixing engineer. He is best known for his tenures in the English progressive rock band Yes (band), Yes as guitarist and keyboardist from 1997 to 2000 and as bassist since 2015, following the death of original bassist Chris Squire. Weldon Dean Parks (born December 6, 1946) is an American session guitarist and record producer from Fort Worth, Texas. Albums Parks was member of the North Texas State One O'clock Lab Band before moving to Los Angeles to work with Sonny and Cher in 1970. In 1980, he was a founding member of the Christian Jazz Fusion band Koinonia. Parks is best known for his many contributions to albums by Steely Dan, Michael Jackson, and Bread. Davey Johnstone
David William Logan Johnstone (born 6 May 1951) is a British rock guitarist and vocalist, best known for his long-time collaboration with Elton John as a member of the Elton John Band. Career Johnstone's first work was with Noel Murphy in 1968, where he received his first album credit on the album ''Another Round''. By 1969, Johnstone had secured regular work as a session musician, where he began to branch out and explore differing genres of music, and experiment with a variety of instruments. Warren Ham
Warren Ham (born 1957) is an American multi-instrumentalist. He is best known for playing with Kansas (1982), Toto (1986-1988, and since 2017) and Ringo Starr (since 2015). During the early '70s, Warren and his brother Bill formed The Ham Brothers Band and included Ira Wilkes on bass, Red Young on piano and organ and Dahrell Norris on drums. The group recorded for Texas producer Huey P. Meaux. Despite critical acclaim for the work, the album never made it in the marketplace. It was soon taken out of print. Fredrik Halland
Fredrik Strand Halland is a Norwegian singer, songwriter, guitarist and producer based in Los Angeles. Early life Born in Bergen, Halland began playing the guitar at a very young age. When he turned 9, he started taking lessons from guitarist Mads Eriksen, who first introduced Halland to the Blues.
