Forget, Saskatchewan
Forget is a village in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan within the Rural Municipality of Tecumseh No. 65 and Census Division No. 1. It is located east of Stoughton, near Highway 13. Forget incorporated as a village on November 21, 1904. The village is named in honour of Amédée E. Forget, the first Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan. A village is a type of incorporated urban municipality in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. A village is created from an organized hamlet by the Minister of Municipal Affairs by ministerial order via section 51 of ''The Municipalities Act'' if the community has: *been an organized hamlet for three or more years; *a population of 100 or more; *50 or more dwellings or businesses; and *a taxable assessment base that meets a prescribed minimum. Saskatchewan has 250 villages that had a cumulative population of 41,514 and an average population of 166 in the 2016 Census. 2021 Canadian Census
The 2021 Canadian census was a detailed enumeration of the Canadian population with a reference date of May 11, 2021. It follows the 2016 Canadian census, which recorded a population of 35,151,728. The overall response rate was 98%, which is slightly lower than the response rate for the 2016 census. It recorded a population of 36,991,981, a 5.2% increase from 2016. The 2016 Canadian census was an enumeration of Canadian residents, which counted a population of 35,151,728, a change from its 2011 population of 33,476,688. Highway 13 is a highway in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. It runs from the Alberta border (continuing westward as Alberta Highway 501) until it transitions into Highway 2 at the Manitoba border near Antler. Highway 13 is about 676 km (420 mi.) long. Highway 13 passes through Shaunavon, Assiniboia, Weyburn, Redvers and Carlyle. It is also referred to as the Red Coat Trail, as much of its length follows the route of the original historic path.
