Bow (ship)
The bow () is the forward part of the hull of a ship or boat, the point that is usually most forward when the vessel is underway. The aft end of the boat is the stern. Prow may be used as a synonym for bow or it may mean the forward-most part of the bow above the waterline. Bruce Nodwell
Bruce Nodwell, (May 12, 1914 – January 20, 2006) was a Canadian inventor who invented the ''Nodwell 110'', a multi-purpose two-tracked vehicle capable of traversing a wide variety of adverse terrain, including sand, mud, muskeg, swamp, and snow. In 1970, he was made an Officer of the Order of Canada, Canada's highest civilian honor, "for his contribution to the opening of the Canadian North through his inventions and development of various types of tracked vehicles". A mountain in Antarctica " Nodwell Peaks" and a lake in NWT bear his name. Early life William Bruce Nodwell was born on his father's homestead near Asquith, Saskatchewan, May 12, 1914. Foremost is a village in Alberta, Canada. It is located southwest of Medicine Hat, along the Alberta Highway 61, Red Coat Trail, in the County of Forty Mile No. 8. Foremost has a strong agriculture industry. Recreation facilities include an ice arena, swimming pool, curling rink, ice fishing, and ball diamonds. Every June the residents hold a parade, rodeo and tough truck competition. Hockey is a big sport in Foremost. The local team is called the Foremost Flyers. They have multiple provincial and regional titles. The school has a long history of winning sports teams.
