''Foreign Harbour'' (Swedish: ''Främmande hamn'') is a 1948 Swedish drama film directed by Hampe Faustman and starring Adolf Jahr, George Fant and Fritiof Billquist.''Historical Dictionary of Scandinavian Cinema'' p.152 It was entered into the 1949 Cannes Film Festival. It was shot at the Centrumateljéerna Studios in Stockholm and on location in Värtahamnen and Turku in Finland. The film's sets were designed by the art director P.A. Lundgren. The film is based on Josef Kjellgren's 1938 play ''Okänd svensk soldat'' (''Unknown Swedish Soldier''). Hampe Faustman
Erik "Hampe" Faustman (born Erik Stellan Chatham; 3 July 1919 – 26 August 1961) was a Swedish actor and film director. He appeared in more than 20 films between 1940 and 1961. He also directed 20 films between 1943 and 1955. He was married to actress Gunn Wållgren 1941–1949. Faustman's parents were Gösta Chatham and Mollie Faustman, who was an artist, journalist, and author.
