Fordson
Fordson was a brand name of tractors and trucks. It was used on a range of mass-produced general-purpose tractors manufactured by Henry Ford & Son Inc from 1917 to 1920, by Ford Motor Company (U.S.) and Ford Motor Company Ltd (U.K.) from 1920 to 1928, and by Ford Motor Company Ltd (U.K.) from 1929 to 1964. The latter (Ford of Britain) also later built trucks and vans under the Fordson brand. After 1964, the Fordson name was dropped and all Ford tractors were simply badged as Fords in both the UK and the US. Henry Ford & Son Ltd
Ford Ireland (Officially, Henry Ford & Sons Limited) is the Irish subsidiary of the United States-based automaker Ford Motor Company. With an assembly plant for motor vehicles, it was part of the automotive industry in Ireland. Company history Pre-War Henry Ford founded the company in Cork in Ireland on 17 April 1917. This was the first factory Ford had purposely built outside of America anywhere in the world. He decided to use Cork as the place for his first factory abroad as it was in Ballinascarty, County Cork where the Ford family emigrated from in 1832 after living in Cork for over 300 years. Dearborn is a city in Wayne County in the U.S. state of Michigan. At the 2020 census, it had a population of 109,976. The Ford Model T is an automobile that was produced by Ford Motor Company from October 1, 1908, to May 26, 1927. Eugene Farkas
Eugene Farkas (born Jenő Farkas; October 28, 1881 – February 24, 1963) was a Hungarian automotive engineer, most known for designing the Ford Model T and Fordson tractors. Early life and education Farkas was born in Káld, Austria-Hungary, in 1881. He was the second eldest son of Károly and Anna Farkas, and one of ten children. Károly was a wagon builder. The family moved to Jánoshalma in 1886 and later moved on to Szarvas. Eugene attended six years of compulsory school plus four years of military school and then moved to Budapest to study at a grammar school. Through the support and kindness of a maternal uncle he was able to afford to attend the Royal Joseph Technical University, from which he graduated with a degree in Certified Mechanical Engineering.
