Ford Rheinland
The Ford Rheinland is an automobile that was built by Ford Germany that was in production from 1933 to 1936. The name comes from the German region of the Rhineland. In total 5575 of them were made. The engine, taken from Model B, was a four-cylinder, four-stroke 3285 cc giving 50 hp (37 kW) at 2800 rpm. This was the last model by Ford of Germany offering the big four-cylinder engine. After 1936, there was only the small Ford Eifel and the big Ford V8. Ford Germany
Ford-Werke GmbH is a German car manufacturer headquartered in Niehl, Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia. It is a subsidiary of Ford Motor Company, which operates two large manufacturing facilities in Germany, a plant in Cologne and a plant in Saarlouis. Berlin origins The earliest presence of the Ford Motor Company in Germany was a parts operation set up in Hamburg in 1912. The Rhineland (german: Rheinland; french: Rhénanie; nl, Rijnland; ksh, Rhingland; Latinised name: ''Rhenania'') is a loosely defined area of Western Germany along the Rhine, chiefly its middle section. Ford Eifel
The Ford Eifel is a car manufactured by Ford Germany between 1935 and 1940. It initially complemented, and then replaced, the Ford Köln. It was itself replaced by the Ford Taunus. Between 1937 and 1939, it was also assembled in Hungary and Denmark. The Eifel was derived from the Ford Model C (Europe) 1934 platform, and is also related to the Dagenham-built 1938 Ford Prefect and 1939 Ford Anglia. The model was named after the Eifel mountain range in western Germany. Body The car was offered with many different body types, including a two-door sedan, a two-door cabrio coach, two- and four-seat cabriolet, two-seater roadster, and a light truck.
