''For Those Who Wait'' is the fourth full-length studio album released by Christian rock band Fireflight. The album was released on February 9, 2010 on Flicker Records. Release and promotion On February 2, 2010 until the release of the album, Fireflight posted their lead track, "For Those Who Wait", for free to download on Amiestreet. ''For Those Who Wait'' was released on February 9, 2010. It peaked at No. 5 on the '' Billboard'' Top Christian Albums chart, No. 16 Alternative Albums and No. 96 on the ''Billboard'' 200. It was their highest CD on the chart, selling over 15,000 copies in its first week. The Japanese bonus track, "Proof of Our Love", was given out to fans via e-mail on February 9, 2010. The website for the promotion, titled "For Those Who Waited", ended and the site address is now defunct. The album received largely favorable reviews. Fireflight
Fireflight is an American Christian rock band formed in Eustis, Florida in 1999. The band was signed by Flicker Records. The band currently consists of Dawn Michele, Glenn and Wendy Drennen and Justin Cox (who left in 2013 but rejoined in 2019). They have released seven studio albums and has played in tours including ShoutFest, Revelation Generation and Winter Jam. They have also been featured on The Scars Remain tour with Disciple, Family Force 5, and Decyfer Down. ''Hello Hurricane'' is the seventh studio album by American alternative rock band Switchfoot, released on November 10, 2009. It was co-produced by the band and Mike Elizondo, after initially self-producing their work, as well as test runs with producers such as Ken Andrews and Charlie Peacock. The album was recorded mainly in the band's Spot X Studio in their hometown of San Diego, California. It was originally to be released on October 6, 2009, but was pushed back to a November 10, 2009 release on their independent record label, the Atlantic-distributed lowercase people records. Switchfoot
Switchfoot is an American rock band from San Diego, California. The band's members are Jon Foreman (lead vocals, guitar), Tim Foreman (bass guitar, backing vocals), Chad Butler (drums, percussion), and Jerome Fontamillas (guitar, keyboards, backing vocals). After early successes in the Christian rock scene, Switchfoot first gained mainstream recognition with the inclusion of four of their songs in the 2002 movie ''A Walk to Remember''. Manic Drive is a Canadian Christian rock band, formed in 2004 by brothers Michael and Shawn Cavallo. After receiving interest from a record label, they released ''Reason for Motion'' in May 2005. Group 1 Crew was an American Christian hip hop band signed to Fervent Records and Warner Bros. Records. They made their debut with the hit song "Can't Go On" on WOW Hits 2007. Soon after they released their first EP ''I have a dream'' (2006), the band released their self-titled full-length debut studio album, ''Group 1 Crew'', in February 2007. Their song "Love is a Beautiful Thing" charted into the Top 20 in May 2007 on '' R&R'' magazine's Christian chart.
