''For Those About to Rock: Monsters in Moscow'' is a 1992 film featuring live performances by rock and heavy metal bands AC/DC, Metallica, The Black Crowes, Pantera, and in the Tushino Airfield in Moscow, during the dissolution of the Soviet Union. In September 1991, only a month after the August Putsch failed, 500,000 (the figure stated in the notes of the original VHS and subsequent DVD release) rock and metal music fans converged in Moscow at Tushino airfield for the first open-air rock concert, as part of the Monsters of Rock series. The concert was completely free, causing many people to flock to the concert. The versions of " Whole Lotta Rosie" and "The Jack" that AC/DC performed at this concert were released on two of AC/DC's live albums, ''AC/DC Live'' and '' AC/DC Live: 2 CD Collector's Edition''. Wayne Isham (born December 2, 1958) is an American film director and music video director who has directed films and music videos of many popular artists. Early life and education Isham was born in December 2, 1958. He attended the University of California, Santa Barbara in the 1970s. While at UC Santa Barbara, David Bowie's music video for " Ashes to Ashes" was released. Costing £250,000, it was the most expensive music video made at the time. Domination (Pantera Song)
"Domination" is a song by American heavy metal band Pantera. It is the sixth track on their 1990 studio album ''Cowboys from Hell''. The song is very notable for its breakdown in the middle of the song, which is considered to be the best out of all of Pantera's breakdowns. From 1990 to 1991, it was used as a live set opener. For the late Dimebag Darrell's birthday in 2022, thrash metal band Anthrax played part of the song at a show. Background and composition The song is composed in the key of E minor, and has a tempo of 141 beats per minute. According to vocalist Phil Anselmo in an interview with ''Louder Sound'': "it was written in the practice studio" and he also commented: "It was the first time we were gonna actually lay it down after we'd been jamming on it. Cliff Burton
Clifford Lee Burton (February 10, 1962 – September 27, 1986) was an American musician who was the bassist for heavy metal band Metallica from 1982 until his death in 1986. He performed on ''Kill 'Em All'' (1983), '' Ride the Lightning'' (1984), and ''Master of Puppets'' (1986), the band's first three studio albums. "Creeping Death" is a song by American heavy metal band Metallica. It was released on November 23, 1984, as the lead and only commercial single from their album '' Ride the Lightning'' (" Fade to Black" and "For Whom the Bell Tolls", from the same album, were issued as promotional singles). Written from the perspective of the Angel of Death, "Creeping Death" describes the tenth plague of Egypt. Development Kirk Hammett wrote the guitar riff for the bridge section when he was 16 years old. The middle section, with its ominous chants of "Die!" set to a Phrygian mode chord progression, was originally written by Hammett while he was in Exodus. The song was called "Die by His Hand" and had been part of the Exodus setlist for live shows, but was never used on any Exodus albums.
