''For This Cause'' is the ninth album in the live praise and worship series of contemporary worship music by Hillsong Church. It was recorded live at the State Sports Centre in Sydney Olympic Park by Darlene Zschech and the Hillsong team, with a congregation of 5,000 people. The album reached No. 17 on the ''Billboard'' Top Contemporary Christian Albums Chart and No. 22 on the Top Independent Albums. Album design The cover artwork of ''For This Cause'', uses Charme STD as the font to display the title. This cover was designed by Chris Perry Graphic Design and Emma Schuberg (the second to last album to be design by them). Hillsong Church, commonly known as Hillsong, is a global Evangelical charismatic movement, charismatic Christian megachurch based in Australia. It catalogs more than three million album entries and 30 million tracks, as well as information on musicians and bands. The Lisa Young Quartet is a jazz-world music quartet from Melbourne, Australia, led by a vocal artist and composer Lisa Young. Background The LYQ quartet is composed of Young, Stephen Magnusson (guitar), Ben Robertson (double bass) and Dave Beck (drums). Joel Houston
Joel Timothy Houston (born 19 September 1979) is an Australian musician, songwriter, pastor, and leader in the Sydney-based band Hillsong United, a worship band of Hillsong Church. He was co-pastor at Hillsong NYC between 2010 and 2017. He is the head of the Christian worship band Hillsong United, for which he sings, plays guitar, and writes songs. Marty Sampson
Martin W "Marty" Sampson (born 31 May 1979) is an Australian singer-songwriter, musician and former worship leader at the Hillsong Church in Sydney. From the late 1990s until 2019 he featured on the United Live albums and was one of the original Hillsong United band's worship leaders. Sampson's main instrument is the guitar although he also plays the piano, flute and drums. Aside from work for Youth Alive and Hillsong United, Sampson has issued solo albums. Reuben Timothy Morgan (born 9 August 1975) is an Australian worship pastor at Hillsong Church and one of several worship leaders and songwriters in Hillsong Worship group. The State Sports Centre (known commercially as the Quaycentre) is a multi-use indoor arena in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia and was opened in November 1984. Sydney Olympic Park is a suburb of Greater Western Sydney, located 13 kilometres west of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of the City of Parramatta Council.
