Football At The 2015 African Games – Women's Qualification
The 2015 African Games women's football tournament qualification decided the participating teams of the 2015 African Games women's football tournament. A total of eight teams qualified to play in the women's football tournament, including Congo who qualified automatically as hosts. Both the qualifying rounds and the final tournament were open to full women's national teams (unlike the men's tournament, which was age-restricted). Teams A total of 17 teams entered the qualifying rounds, organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). Format Qualification ties were played on a home-and-away two-legged basis. If the aggregate score was tied after the second leg, the away goals rule would be applied, and if still level, the penalty shoot-out would be used to determine the winner (no extra time would be played). Mahamasina Municipal Stadium
Kianja Barea Mahamasina is a rugby union and football ( multi-purpose) stadium, also used for concerts and athletics, in Antananarivo, Madagascar. Usage It is used mostly for rugby and football matches. The stadium has a 40,880 capacity for football and rugby matches. Incidents In 2005, the stadium was the site of a stampede that killed two people during a match between South African side Kaizer Chiefs and Madagascar's USJF Ravinala. Evelyn Nwabuoku
Evelyn Nwabuoku (born 14 November 1985) is a Nigerian footballer who plays as a midfielder for En Avant de Guingamp in the French Division 1 Féminine and the Nigeria women's national football team and she is the captain of the national side. Nwabuoku played previously for BIIK Kazygurt in the Kazakhstani women's football championship and both Bayelsa Queens and Rivers Angels in the Nigerian Women's Championship. Club career Nwabuoku played in the Nigerian Women's Championship for Bayelsa Queens and Rivers Angels before moving to BIIK Kazygurt of the Kazakhstani women's football championship in 2015. The Botswana National Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Gaborone, Botswana. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium holds 25,000 people. Overview The pitch is surrounded by an athletics track, the stadium is coupled with a rugby venue, which has fallen into disuse, and a tennis facility. The stadium was made up of a total of 10 stands, three of which are covered. The three large stands on each end of the stadium made up the north and south ends. The west side of the stadium is made up of three covered stands, while the east end is made up of one giant uncovered stand. After the 2016 renovations, the 3 north stands were joined together.
