Fernando Paternoster
Fernando Paternoster (24 May 1903 – 6 June 1967) was an Argentine footballer and manager. He played for the Argentina national football team and helped promote football across South America in countries such as Colombia and Ecuador. Playing career Club Paternoster started his career in the youth team of Atlanta in 1919. He made his breakthrough into the first team in 1921. In 1926 Paternoster joined Racing Club de Avellaneda where he played until 1932. Between 1930 and 1931, he was loaned for free by Racing to Vélez Sársfield to play for the club in a Pan-American tour that took them from Chile to the United States. In 1936 he made a single appearance for Argentinos Juniors. National team Paternoster was part of the Argentina squad that finished runner-up to Uruguay in the 1928 Olympic football tournament. Raimundo Bibiani "Mumo" Orsi (2 December 1901 – 6 April 1986) was an Italian Argentine footballer who played as a winger or as a forward. At the international level he represented both Argentina and Italy, winning the 1927 Copa América and the silver medal at the 1928 Summer Olympics in Amsterdam, Netherlands, with Argentina, as well as two editions of the Central European International Cup and the 1934 FIFA World Cup, with Italy. Club Sportivo Buenos Aires is a defunct Argentine football club from the city of Buenos Aires that played in Primera División during the 1920s. History The club was founded on 1 February 1918, when clubs Buenos Aires Isla Maciel and Sportivo Argentino merged. The Sportivo Argentino had been founded in 1915 by former players of Boca Juniors' youth and senior players separated from the club due to problems with its managers. Luis Monti
Luis Felipe Monti (15 May 1901 – 9 September 1983) was an Italian Argentine footballer who played as a midfielder and an Olympian. Monti has the distinction of having played in two FIFA World Cup final matches with two different national teams. He played the first of these finals with his native Argentina in 1930, which was lost to Uruguay; and the second with Italy as one of their ''Oriundi'' in 1934, thanks to his Romagnol descent. This second time Monti was on the winning side in a 2–1 victory over Czechoslovakia.
