Football Oscar
The Football Oscar ( hr, Nogometni Oscar) is an annual football award given by the Croatian Association Football Union and Sportske novosti since 2013. In the 2017 edition the award was renamed as Trophy Footballer ( hr, Trofej Nogometaš). It is awarded to the best football player, manager and goalkeeper playing in the Croatian First League. Also, it is awarded to the best overall Croatian player at the end of every season. The best 11 Prva HNL players of the season are also selected. The award is chosen by players and managers of the Croatian league clubs. ''Sportske novosti'' () is a Croatian daily sports newspaper based in Zagreb. It was established on 9 August 1945 as ''Ilustrirane fiskulturne novine'' weekly newspaper. Several months later, on 10 December 1945, its name got changed to ''Narodni sport''. From March 1949, its publishing frequency increased to twice a week, and from 1951 to three times per week. In 1962 it was acquired by the '' Vjesnik'' publishing company. Its name was changed to ''Sportske novosti'' on 1 March 1962 and from then on it was published five times per week. Since 1967 it was published six times per week (every day except on Sundays). From 1974 to 1987 it had a circulation of 100,000 copies which turned ''Sportske novosti'' into the most popular sports newspaper in Yugoslavia. Franko Andrijašević
Franko Andrijašević (; born 22 June 1991) is a Croatian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Zhejiang in the Chinese Super League. Club career A product of the Hajduk Split academy, Andrijašević made his professional debut on 13 May 2010 in a league match against Croatia Sesvete, in Hajduk's last match of the 2009–10 season. In August 2011, Andrijašević was loaned to second division side Dugopolje for a period of one year. On his debut against Hrvatski Dragovoljac, he scored the third goal in a 5–0 victory. Ivan Močinić
Ivan Močinić (born 30 April 1993) is a Croatian retired football midfielder who last played for Croatian First Football League side Šibenik. Club career Rijeka Močinić made his début for Rijeka in an away match against Dinamo Zagreb in October 2011. During his first professional season he collected 13 caps. Močinić scored his first goal for Rijeka in the last round of 2011–12 Prva HNL, against Karlovac 1919. During the following five seasons with Rijeka, he has been a regular starter on most occasions, collecting 141 appearances in the league, domestic cup and Europe. Marcelo Brozović
Marcelo Brozović (; born 16 November 1992) is a Croatian professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for club Inter Milan and the Croatia national team. He represented his nation at the 2014, 2018 and 2022 editions of the FIFA World Cup, as well as the UEFA European Championship in 2016 and 2020. Josip Pivarić
Josip Pivarić (; born 30 January 1989) is a Croatian professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Prva HNL side Lokomotiva Zagreb. Club career Dinamo Zagreb Pivarić joined the Dinamo Zagreb youth academy at a young age. He was promoted to the first team during the spring of 2008. He went out on loan to Dinamo feeder club Lokomotiva Zagreb that same year, making 13 appearances in his first season with the ''Lokosi''. Mario Maloča
Mario Maloča (born 4 May 1989) is a Croatian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Lechia Gdańsk. Club career Maloča spent most of his youth career at Dinamo Zagreb and had spells with youth teams at NK Zagreb, Inter Zaprešić and Kamen Ingrad. In 2007, Maloča signed for Hajduk Split. Ivan Tomečak (; born 7 December 1989) is a Croatian professional footballer who plays for Lokomotiva in the Croatian Football League. He is usually deployed as a right full-back, but is often used as a right winger or left full-back. Matjaž Kek (born 9 September 1961) is a Slovenian professional football manager and former player who is the manager of the Slovenia national team. Playing career Kek started his career at his home club NK Maribor, before moving to another Maribor-based team, Železničar Maribor. In 1980, he returned to Maribor. Mario Pašalić (; born 9 February 1995) is a Croatian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for side Atalanta and the Croatia national team. Andrej Kramarić
Andrej Kramarić (; born 19 June 1991) is a Croatian professional footballer who plays as a forward or attacking midfielder for Bundesliga club 1899 Hoffenheim and the Croatia national team. Kramarić started his football career in his hometown club Dinamo Zagreb and holds the record as the top youth goalscorer in the club's history.
