The Football League Second Division Manager of the Month award was a monthly prize of recognition given to association football managers in the Football League Second Division, the third tier of Football in England, English football from 1992 to 2004. The award was announced in the first week of the following month. From the The Football League 2004–05, 2004–05 season onwards, following a rebranding exercise by The Football League, the third tier was known as Football League One, thus the award became the Football League One Manager of the Month award. The awards are designed and manufactured in the UK by bespoke awards company Gaudio Awards. Harry Redknapp
Henry James Redknapp (born 2 March 1947) is an English former football manager and player. He has previously managed AFC Bournemouth, West Ham United, Portsmouth, Southampton, Tottenham Hotspur, Queens Park Rangers and Birmingham City. William Dearden (born 11 February 1944) is an English former footballer and manager who is now chief scout at Sheffield United. As a player, he scored 101 goals in 404 league games in a 16-year career in the English Football League. A striker, he began his career with hometown club Oldham Athletic in 1963. Three years later he moved on to Crewe Alexandra, and helped the "Railwaymen" to win promotion out of the Fourth Division in 1967–68. He then moved on to Chester for a two-season spell. Brian "Nobby" Horton (born 4 February 1949) is an English former footballer and manager. He spent 16 years as a professional player and 22 years as a manager, making 689 appearances and managing 1,098 matches. In addition to this he spent four years as a semi-professional player and around 11 years as a coach and assistant manager.
