Football League Extra
''Football League Extra'' is an English Football League highlights show supplied by ITV Sport. It usually aired late on Monday nights. The programme first aired in 1994, and ended after the 2003–2004 season, when it was replaced on Sunday mornings by ''The Championship''. The show was actually billed as "Endsleigh League Extra" from 1994 to the summer of 1996,as the Football League was sponsored by Endsleigh Insurance,during this period. When Nationwide Building Society took over sponsorship of the league next,until 2004,the show's title changed to "Nationwide Football League Extra". The show was first presented by Gabriel Clarke – other presenters later included Dave Beckett, Matt Smith and Tom Skippings. The show ran many club-specific features and also featured competitions and archive footage. Gabriel Clarke
Gabriel Clarke is a British TV journalist and documentary filmmaker. Clarke earned an English Literature degree from the University of London and began his journalistic career with local newspapers in Somerset and Bristol. He started his sports broadcasting career with Radio Trent in the East Midlands before moving into TV. Clarke joined ITV Sport in 1991, as a reporter for the ''Saint and Greavsie'' television programme. He has worked across ITV Sport's output covering European Championships, World Cups, Rugby World Cups, the Boat Race and World Championship boxing, and also presenting ITV's Football League highlights show ''Football League Extra''. Alistair Mann
Alistair Mann is a freelance football commentator and TV sports presenter. He was born in Salford and attended Manchester Grammar School. He trained as a journalist at the department of Journalism, Media and Communication, University of Central Lancashire. Mann worked for ITV Granada, where he presented all their sports output including ''Soccer Night'' and the daily news magazine show ''Granada Reports''. Ron Atkinson
Ronald Frederick Atkinson (born 18 March 1939), commonly known as "Big Ron" or "Mr. Bojangles", is an English former football player and manager.
