''Foot In Mouth Disease'' is the fourth studio album by Canadian punk rock band Gob, released on April 1, 2003 in Canada by Nettwerk, internationally by Arista Records, and in Japan by BMG. Four singles were released from the album: "Give Up the Grudge", "Oh! Ellin", "Ming Tran" (which previously appeared on the ''F.U. EP''), and "This Evil World". Three of the album's tracks have been featured in many Electronic Arts video games. The album's second track "I've Been Up These Steps" was in ''NHL 2003'', "Oh! Ellin" was in ''NHL 2004'', and "Give Up the Grudge" was in ''Madden NFL 2004'' and the 2003 film ''American Wedding''. It is the band’s final album with longtime bassist Craig Wood, as he left the band in 2004. Gob is a Canadian punk rock band from Langley, British Columbia, formed in 1993. The band consists of Tom Thacker, Theo Goutzinakis, Gabe Mantle and Steven Fairweather. They were nominated for a Juno Award for best new group in 2000, and received another Juno nomination for best video in 2002. Gob's most successful album is ''World According to Gob''. Their best-selling songs to date are "I Hear You Calling", "Soda", and "Banshee Song". ''Madden NFL 2004'' is the 15th installment of the ''Madden NFL'' series of American football video games. Former Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick is on the cover. Gameplay New features in ''Madden 2004'' include a new owner mode option that allows the player to control a franchise. In this mode, the player takes on all the responsibilities related to owning a professional football team, from regulating hot dog prices, to team relocation, to hiring and firing coaching staff. Tom Thacker (musician)
Tom Thacker (born 11 April 1974), nicknamed Brown Tom, is a Canadian musician. He is the lead guitarist, lead singer and co-founder of the Canadian punk rock group Gob and rhythm guitarist for Sum 41. Thacker formed Gob with Theo Goutzinakis in 1993. Following Dave Baksh's departure from Sum 41 on May 11, 2006, Thacker was recruited as their touring guitarist, and then became an official member in 2009. He has remained with Sum 41 ever since, even after Baksh rejoined the band in 2015, contributing to three studio releases. Thacker has been in the films '' Going the Distance'' and ''Sharp as Marbles''. Professional career Gob (1993–present) Thacker is one of the vocalists and guitarists in the punk rock band Gob. Kick Axe
Kick Axe is a Canadian heavy metal band from Regina, Saskatchewan. Influenced by rambunctious arena rock from the 70s and early 80s, the group is perhaps best known for their 1984 album ''Vices'', praised by publications such as AllMusic for its "down-and-dirty guitar riffs" and notably managing to crack the American market.
