Fools Rush In (1997 Film)
''Fools Rush In'' is a 1997 American romantic comedy film starring Matthew Perry and Salma Hayek, directed by Andy Tennant. Plot Alex Whitman, a New York City architect, is sent to Las Vegas to supervise the construction of a nightclub that his firm has been hired to build. Alex, a strait-laced WASP-ish type, meets Isabel Fuentes, a free-spirited Mexican-American photographer. Alex and Isabel are overtaken by lust at first sight and spend the night together; however, their immediate attraction does not last, and in the cold morning light, Isabel quietly slips away while Alex is still asleep. Three months later, they meet again when Isabel has some interesting news for Alex: she is pregnant with his child. Andrew Wellman Tennant (born June 15, 1955) is an American screenwriter, film and television director, actor, and dancer. Early life Tennant was born June 15, 1955 in Chicago, Illinois and was raised in Flossmoor, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. His father was Don Tennant, a legendary creative advertising talent with Leo Burnett Agency in Chicago. As a boy, he spent his summers on Old Mission Peninsula in northern Michigan and at Camp Minocqua in northern Wisconsin. He graduated from Homewood-Flossmoor High School in 1973. Burl Ives
Burl Icle Ivanhoe Ives (June 14, 1909 – April 14, 1995) was an American musician, actor, and author with a career that spanned more than six decades. Ives began his career as an itinerant singer and guitarist, eventually launching his own radio show, ''The Wayfaring Stranger'', which popularized traditional folk songs. In 1942, he appeared in Irving Berlin's ''This Is the Army'' and became a major star of CBS Radio. In the 1960s, he successfully crossed over into country music, recording hits such as "A Little Bitty Tear" and "Funny Way of Laughin'". Stanley DeSantis
Stanley DeSantis (July 6, 1953 – August 9, 2005) was an American actor and businessman. DeSantis was raised in the Chicago area, and graduated from Thornton Township High School in 1971. He appeared in several motion pictures, including '' Candyman'' (1992), ''Ed Wood'' (1994), '' Boogie Nights'' (1997), '' Rush Hour'' (1998), ''I Am Sam'' (2001), and '' The Aviator '' (2004). He also made many television appearances.
