Foolproof (film)
''Foolproof'' is a 2003 Canada, Canadian heist film directed by William Phillips (director), William Phillips and starring Ryan Reynolds, David Suchet, Kristin Booth, Joris Jarsky, and James Allodi. Plot Kevin, Sam and Rob are playing a game, known as "Foolproof", in which they create working plans to infiltrate and burglary, burgle various targets. They do not actually execute these heists, preferring to simply simulate them using necessary technical and physical abilities to carry out the tasks required for the heist. They adhere to some rules, such as using identical equipment and infrastructure as the target and using no firearms of any kind. All is fine until a famous criminal, Leo Gillette, breaks into Sam's apartment, steals the trio's plans for a jewelry warehouse heist and accomplishes it. William Phillips (director)
William Phillips is a Canadian film director and screenwriter. After graduating from the University of Toronto with a bachelor of science, Phillips studied film at Ryerson University. Phillips then ran a film production company entitled Grandview Products and worked on the second-unit of the film ''Cube (1997 film), Cube''. After directing two short films, ''Milkman'' and ''Deep Cut'', Phillips wrote and directed his first feature film in 2001, ''Treed Murray''. The film earned five Genie Awards nominations including Best Motion Picture. Williams has since directed two more major Canadian films, ''Foolproof (film), Foolproof'' and ''Gunless''. David Hewlett
David Ian Hewlett (born 18 April 1968) is a British-born Canadian actor, writer, and director known for his role as Dr. Rodney McKay in the '' Stargate'' science-fiction franchise. He first gained fame for his roles as Grant Jansky in the Canadian TV series '' Traders'' (1996—2000) and as David Worth in the Canadian psychological horror film ''Cube'' (1997). He had earlier appeared in the horror film ''Pin'' (1988) and the science-fiction film '' Scanners II: The New Order'' (1991). Sam Roberts (born October 2, 1974) is a Canadian rock singer-songwriter who has released seven albums. His debut EP ''The Inhuman Condition'', reached the Canadian charts in 2002. The Dandy Warhols
The Dandy Warhols are an American alternative rock band, formed in Portland, Oregon, in 1994 by singer-guitarist Courtney Taylor-Taylor and guitarist Peter Holmström. They were later joined by keyboardist Zia McCabe and drummer Eric Hedford. Hedford left in 1998 and was replaced by Taylor-Taylor's cousin Brent DeBoer. The Crystal Method is an American electronic music act formed in Las Vegas, Nevada, by Ken Jordan and Scott Kirkland in the early 1990s.
