Cassa di Risparmio di Fano S.p.A. (Carifano) was an Italian saving bank based in Fano, Marche. The bank had 40 branches all in Marche and Umbria. History Cassa di Risparmio di Fano was founded on 14 January 1843 in Fano, the Papal States. Due to Legge Amato, on 28 May 1992, a Società per Azioni (limited company) and a banking foundation (Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Fano) were found. In the late 1990s, Banca Popolare di Ancona (BPA) acquired 60% shares of the company, with the foundation and other shareholders retained the remaining stake. In 1996 BPA owned 59.76% shares, its parent company Banca Popolare di Bergamo – Credito Varesino owned 0.29%. It was increased to 66.14% (plus 0.25%) in 1999. In 2002 the remain 33.38% was sold by the foundation for €75 million to BPA. That year BPA owned 99.771% shares, as BP Bergamo transferred their 0.25036% shares to BPA. Credito Valtellinese (Creval) is an Italian bank based in Sondrio, Lombardy, Italy. The company was a former component of FTSE Italia Mid Cap Index of the Borsa Italiana (Milan Stock Exchange), but was removed and added as a component of Index in May 2017; the bank was added back to the reserve list of FTSE Italia Mid Cap in August 2017. The bank is named after the area Valtellina. San Domenico, Fano
San Domenico is a deconsecrated Roman Catholic church in the town of Fano, province of Pesaro and Urbino in the Marche, Italy. The deconsecrated church is now used to display the painting collection of the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Fano. The church has been selected to display sacred works and altarpieces from the 16th and 17th centuries in an environment resembling their original placements. History In 1216, priest of the Dominican order would arrive in Fano. The construction of an oratory occurred soon after. By the late 14th-century, a larger Gothic-style church was erected. In 1485, a bell-tower and the Chapel of the Madonna of the Rosary was erected. In 1701-1703, the interiors of that church was refurbished by the architect Francesco Gasparoli with late-baroque altars.
