The Fogo Island Cup (Portuguese: ''Taça (Copa) da Ilha do Fogo'', Capeverdean Crioulo, ALUPEC or ALUPEK: ''Tasa da Djarfogu'', Fogo: ''Taça da Djarfogu (Djarfogo)'' or ''Djar Fogu (Fogo)'') is a regional cup competition and is played during the season in the island of Fogo, Cape Verde, it consists of all the clubs from all the two regional divisions and are divided into about four to five rounds, for some seasons, a group stage was featured. The cup competition is organized by the Fogo Regional Football Association (Associação Regional do Fogo, ARFF). The cup winner competes in the regional super cup final in the following season when a cup winner also wins the championship, a runner-up competes. For several seasons, the winner qualified into Cape Verdean Cup which has been cancelled due to financial and scheduling reasons. The Fogo Island Opening Tournament (Portuguese: ''Torneio de Abertura do Fogo'', Capeverdean Crioulo, ALUPEC or ALUPEK: ''Turnéu di Abertura du Fogo''), is an opening tournament competition (equivalent to a league cup) played during the season in the island of Fogo, Cape Verde The competition is organized by the Fogo Regional Football Association. The winner with the most points (sometimes in the final) is the winner. The first edition took place in 2001 and Botafogo was the first winner, Cutelinho was the second winner won in 2002. Since 2006, no competitions of the opening tournament/association cup has taken place. Fogo Champion's Cup
The Fogo Champion's Cup or the Fogo Champion's Trophy (Portuguese: ''Taça da Campeões do Fogo'', Capeverdean Creole: ALUPEK: ''Tasa da Kampionis du Fugu'') is a single knockout football (soccer) competition that is played each season in the island of Fogo, Cape Verde. The competition features the champion from the Premier Division and the champion of the Second Division. The trophy competition is organized by the Fogo Regional Football Association (Associação Regional do Fogo, ARFF). Its current winner is Onze Unidos who won their only title. The Champion's Cup (or Trophy) was introduced in 2016. The first edition took place in November, 2016 and featured Vulcânicos (Premier Division) and Real Marítimo (Second Division) which were the first club to participate. The 2017 edition which featured the Premier Division champ Vulcânicos and the Second Division champ Nova Era was not played as the Second Division club did not shown up. The Fogo (Island) Super Cup (Portuguese: Super Taça do Fogo, Capeverdean Creole: ALUPEK: ''Super Tasa du Fogu'', Fogo Creole: ''Super Taça du Fogu'') is a regional super cup competition played during the season in the island of Fogo, Cape Verde. The competition is organized by the Fogo Regional Football Association (Associação Regional de Futebol do Fogo, ARFF). Its current champions is Vulcânicos who won their second title, which was their next in a decade. The regional champion competes with the cup champion. If a champion also has a cup title, a cup club who is runner-up qualifies. The upcoming super cup will feature the champion Vulcânicos and the cup winner Académica do Fogo. The Fogo Premier Division is a tier-2 regional championship played in Fogo Island, Cape Verde. The competition are organized by the Fogo Regional Football Association (Associação Regional de Futebol do Fogo, ARFF). The winner of the championship plays in the Cape Verdean football Championships of each season while the last placed club relegates and participates in the Second Division in the following season. Vulcânicos Futebol Clube or Vulcânico Clube do Fogo is a football club that had played in the Premier division and plays in the Fogo Island Division in Cape Verde.
