Focus is an Italian free television channel operated by Mediaset and owned by MFE - MediaForEurope. Focusing on a mixture of factual and entertainment programming, the network deals with topics of natural sciences, pseudoscience and history, in partnership with the homonymous magazine. Switchover Media (SOM) was an Italian broadcaster of television channels. The company first operated as a subsidiary of Netherlands-based broadcaster Jetix Europe to being purchased out by its management and rebranding to Switchover Media in June 2009, to its purchase and folding by Discovery Communications in January 2013. ''How It's Made'' (''Comment c'est fait'' in French) is a Canadian documentary television series that premiered on January 6, 2001, on the Discovery Channel in Canada and the Science Channel in the United States. The program is produced in the Canadian province of Quebec by Productions MAJ, Inc. and Productions MAJ 2. Format The show is a documentary showing how common, everyday items (such as clothing and accessories, food, industrial products, musical instruments, and sporting goods) are manufactured. It also features the restoration processes of old items in some episodes. ''How It's Made'' does not include explanatory texts to simplify dubbing in different languages. The show also avoids having an onscreen host (after Season 1 in the Canadian version) and an interview with employees explaining the process. DMAX is a thematic network television owned by Warner Bros. Discovery. The Italian version of the channel began its broadcasting at 6:45 pm on 10 November 2011 with the show ''Destroyed in Seconds''. DMAX is available on channel 52 of digital television, on Sky Italia at channel 136 in HD and on Tivù Sat at channel 28 in HD.
