Bror Fock
Bror Karl Fock (29 March 1888 – 4 September 1964) was a Sweden, Swedish long-distance runner who competed at the Athletics at the 1912 Summer Olympics, 1912 Summer Olympics held in Stockholm in the 3000 m, 10000 m and cross-country events. He finished seventh in the 3000 m, earning a silver medal with the Swedish team, and 17th in the Athletics at the 1912 Summer Olympics – Men's team cross country, cross country race. Although Sweden won the cross-country team event, Fock did not receive a medal because only three best runners from each team were counted, while he was seventh. In 1912, Fock briefly held the world record over 3000 m. He won the national 10000 m title in 1909, 1910 and 1912, placing second in 1911 and 1913. Johann Wilhelm Kinau (22 August 1880 – 31 May 1916), better known by his pseudonym Gorch Fock ("Fock, Gorch", in ''Webster's Biographical Dictionary'' (1960), Springfield, MA: Merriam-Webster.), was a German author. Other pseudonyms he used were Jakob Holst and Giorgio Focco. Life Kinau was the eldest child of fisherman Heinrich Wilhelm Kinau and his wife, Metta Holst, on the Elbe island of Finkenwerder (now part of Hamburg). In 1895 he was apprenticed to his uncle, the merchant August Kinau in Geestemünde (today part of Bremerhaven), and from 1897 until 1898 he attended a commercial school in Bremerhaven. Later he was employed as an accountant in Meiningen, Bremen, Halle (Saale) and from 1907 at the shipping company Hamburg-Amerika-Linie in Hamburg. Jenő Fock (; 17 May 1916 – 22 May 2001) was a Hungarian Communist politician who served as Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the People's Republic of Hungary from 1967 to 1975. Career Fock joined the Communist Party of Hungary in 1932. During the Second World War, he was imprisoned for his Communist activities from 1940 to 1943. After the founding of the People's Republic of Hungary on 20 August 1949, he participated in communist governance from 1952 to 1954 as Minister for Steel Industry. In 1957 he became secretary of the Central Committee of the Hungarian Socialist Workers' Party (MSZMP) and in 1961, he served as Deputy Prime Minister. Josephine Fock (born 5 September 1965) is a Danish politician, who was a member of the Folketing for The Alternative from 2015 to 2018. Metta (or Mätta) Charlotta Fock, née ''Ridderbjelke'' (10 June 1765 – 7 November 1810), was a Swedish noble and sentenced murderer. She was executed for murdering her spouse, son and daughter in order to marry her lover. Life Metta Fock was the daughter of quartermaster noble Axel Erik Ridderbjelke and Helena Margareta Gripenmark. In 1783, she married the noble sergeant Henrik Johan Fock (1757-1802). The marriage was arranged. The couple had several children, four of whom, two daughters and two sons, were alive by 1800. Cornelia Wilhelmina "Willemijn" Fock (25 June 1942 – 3 June 2021) was a Dutch art historian. She was professor of the history of applied arts at Leiden University.
