Douglas Kennedy (born January 1, 1955) is an American novelist. He is known for international bestsellers ''The Big Picture'', ''The Pursuit of Happiness'', ''Leaving the World'' and ''The Moment.'' Biography Douglas Kennedy was born in New York City in 1955, the son of a commodities broker and a production assistant at NBC. A flying junction or flyover is a railway junction at which one or more diverging or converging tracks in a multiple-track route cross other tracks on the route by bridge to avoid conflict with other train movements. A more technical term is "grade-separated junction". A burrowing junction or dive-under occurs where the diverging line passes below the main line.
