Flynn Perez
Flynn Pérez (born 25 August 2001) is an Australian rules footballer who plays for the North Melbourne Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was recruited by North Melbourne with the 35th draft pick in the 2019 AFL draft. Early life and football career Pérez was born in Bendigo, Victoria. He was educated at Catherine McAuley College. Pérez played football for the Sandhurst Football Netball Club. He was named to play in Team Bartel in the Under 17 Futures grand final curtain raiser. Pérez played for the Bendigo Pioneers in the NAB League. He played 15 games and averaged 16.5 disposals in his 2018 season, but suffered an ACL injury and missed the entire 2019 season. The NAB League Boys (also referred to as simply the NAB League and formerly known as the TAC Cup) is an under-19 Australian rules football representative competition held in Australia. It is based on geographic regions throughout country Victoria and metropolitan Melbourne with each team representing twelve Victorian regions, while a thirteenth team from Tasmania was reintroduced in 2019. The 2020 AFL season was the 124th season of the Australian Football League (AFL), the highest level senior men's Australian rules football competition in Australia, which was known as the Victorian Football League until 1989. The Sandhurst Football Netball Club, nicknamed the ''Dragons'', is an Australian rules football and netball club based in Bendigo, Victoria. Sandhurst is the former name of that city. The club teams currently compete in the Bendigo Football Netball League. The football team is the second most-winning team of the BFL, with 27 premierships. The Australian Football League (AFL) is the only fully professional competition of Australian rules football.
