"You Don't Know Me" (originally titled "U Don't Know Me") is a song by American record producer Armand van Helden featuring vocals from German-American singer Duane Harden. It was released on January 25, 1999, as the lead single from his third studio album, ''2 Future 4 U''. The creation of the song came about when Helden created a looping track composed of several music samples and left Harden to write and record the lyrics alone. The song peaked at number two on the US ''Billboard'' Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart and reached number one on the UK Singles Chart in February 1999. "You Don't Know Me" additionally reached the top 10 in France, Greece, and Italy, and topped the Canadian ''RPM'' Dance chart. Roland Clark
Roland Clark is an American house music DJ, producer, songwriter and vocalist. Biography In the past, Roland Clark used the aliases Jesus Jackson, Digital Pimps, Dark Clark, South Street Player, and is also founding member of the dance music project Urban Soul. He learned how to write songs from his childhood mentor Calvin Gaines. One of the many projects he has been involved in is "Flowerz" by Armand van Helden, from the album ''2 Future 4 U'' from 1998, as well as delivering his writing and vocal talents to the likes of Todd Terry, Duke Dumont and Katy Perry. He was featured on two Fatboy Slim songs, " Star 69" and " Song for Shelter", both of which sample part of Clark's song "I Get Deep" and feature on Fatboy Slim's 2000 album ''Halfway Between the Gutter and the Stars''. Jam! was a Canadian website which covers entertainment news. It was part of the Canoe.com online portal, formerly owned and operated by Quebecor through its Sun Media division, and now owned by Postmedia Network. Jam! was the only media outlet that published a comprehensive collection of the official Canadian record charts as compiled by Nielsen SoundScan and Nielsen Broadcast Data Systems. CKXT-TV, Sun Media's television station in Toronto, aired a nightly entertainment magazine series, ''Inside Jam!''. However, due to low ratings the program's airtime was reduced substantially.
