Flower Hill Village Park (formerly known as Flower Hill County Park) is a village-owned park in the Incorporated Village of Flower Hill, on Long Island, in the State of New York. It was formerly owned by Nassau County. Flower Hill Village Hall
Flower Hill Village Hall is the administrative headquarters for the Incorporated Village of Flower Hill, New York. It houses the Village of Flower Hill's government, along with the village's service and maintenance vehicles. Description The building is located at 1 Bonnie Heights Road, on a plot of land, directly across the street from the Flower Hill Village Park. This property used to be the location of the real estate office of Carlos Munson – a prominent, early Flower Hill resident and the former chairman of the Munson Steamship Company. The Nassau County Legislature is the lawmaking body of Nassau County, New York. Currently, it has 19 different members from 19 different districts. It was formed in 1996 to succeed the county's Board of Supervisors, which was ruled unconstitutional. The legislature serves as a check against the county executive. Elaine Phillips is an American politician who currently serves as Nassau County Comptroller, with a term beginning in January 2022. She was elected to the position in a landslide victory, defeating Democrat Ryan Cronin 61%-39% to succeed retiring incumbent Jack Schnirman. Phillips previously represented the New York State Senate's 7th district, and had previously served as the 18th Mayor of Flower Hill, New York. She is a Republican. New York State Route 101 (NY 101) is a long state highway in northwestern Nassau County, New York, in the United States. It runs north–south as Port Washington Boulevard from NY 25A in Flower Hill, west of Roslyn and east of Manhasset, to Astor Lane in Sands Point. It becomes County Route 101 south along Searingtown Road to Shelter Rock Road ( County Route 8 or CR 8) and becomes Middle Neck Road (CR D55) north of Astor Lane, continuing north and west to a dead end at Long Island Sound as the unsigned County Route D55.
