Florinda Chico
Florinda Chico MartÃn-Mora MML (24 April 1926 – 19 February 2011) was a Spanish actress of film, theater and television. Biography Florinda Chico MartÃn-Mora was born in 1926 in Don Benito (Badajoz) in Extremadura, Spain. She studied singing and then started her artistic career on the stage acting in musical revues. Her first successes were ''El huevo'' and the revue ''La blanca doble'' (1947) with the comedian trio Zori, Santos y Codeso. Although she made her debut on cinema in 1953 with the movie ''Pasaporte para un ángel'' it wasn't until the late 1960s that she became famous in Spain. She often played the roles of feisty, fleshy housewife or grumpy maid. She worked with director Mariano Ozores in almost two dozen films. She also appeared in such dramas as ''CrÃa cuervos'' (1976) and ''La casa de Bernarda Alba'' (1987). The Most Excellent
The Most Excellent (Spanish language, Spanish: ''ExcelentÃsimo Señor'' (male) or ''ExcelentÃsima Señora'' (female), literally "Most Excellent Sir/Madam") is an honorific prefix that is traditionally applied to certain people in Spain and certain Spanish-speaking countries. Following Spanish tradition, it is an ''ex officio'' style (the holder has it as long as they remain in office, in the most important positions of state) and is used in written documents and very formal occasions. The prefix is similar (but not equal) to that of "Excellency, His/Her Excellency", but in the 19th century "The Most Excellent" began to replace the former. The use of the prefix Excellency was re-introduced in Francoist Spain by ''GeneralÃsimo'' Francisco Franco himself, who was formally styled as ''Military career and honours of Francisco Franco, Su Excelencia el Jefe del Estado'' ("His Excellency The Head of State"), while his ministers and senior government officials continued using the prefix ... Taller is a Communes of France, commune in the Landes (department), Landes Departments of France, department in Nouvelle-Aquitaine in southwestern France. William II Sánchez of Gascony perpetrated a major defeat of the Vikings at Taller in 982 and they vanished as a serious threat thereafter. Population Etymology The origins of the name "Taller" are still uncertain but might come from the English word "tall", which could be related to the altitude of the village from which went from 70 to 90m in 982. Taller used to be called Talleyras.
