Florin Tătaru
Florin-Cristian Tătaru (born December 5, 1967) is a Romanian politician. A member of the Social Democratic Party (PSD), he has represented Maramureș County in the Chamber of Deputies since 2011. Biography Born in Baia Mare, he attended an arts school in his native city from 1976 to 1982. From that year until 1986, he studied at Gheorghe Șincai High School, specializing in mathematics and physics. He subsequently enrolled in the international economic relations faculty of the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies, graduating in 1990. Between 1992 and 2001, he successively worked at two private firms in Baia Mare. From 2001 to 2005, he was president of the Maramureș County health insurance fund. From 2006 to 2009, he was a manager at the local Banca Comercială Carpatica. Between 2009 and 2011, he was economic director for the county's forestry service. The Romanian Ecologist Party ( ro, Partidul Ecologist Român, PER) is a formerly ecologist and currently mostly conservative and green conservative political party in Romania. 2012 Romanian Legislative Election
Legislative elections were held in Romania on 9 December 2012. The Social Liberal Union (USL) of Prime Minister Victor Ponta won an absolute majority in both the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate. Despite the severe weather in parts of the country, the turnout was at 42%, slightly higher than the last legislative elections held in 2008 which saw a turnout of 39%. The Social Liberal Union (USL) obtained a huge majority in both the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate, with 60% and 59% respectively of the votes and in MP mandates, a record number of 395 seats. Far behind, the Right Romania Alliance (ARD) came in second place with only 17% of the vote and 80 seats, losing about half of what they won in 2008. Traian Băsescu (; born 4 November 1951) is a conservatism, conservative Romanian politician who served as President of Romania from 2004 to 2014. Prior to his presidency, Băsescu served as Romanian Minister of Transport on multiple occasions between 1991 and 2000, and as Mayor of Bucharest from 2000 to 2004. Greater Romania Party
The Greater Romania Party ( ro, Partidul România Mare, PRM) is a Romanian nationalist political party. Founded in May 1991 by Eugen Barbu and Corneliu Vadim Tudor, it was led by the latter from that point until his death in September 2015.
