Florian Rudy
Florian Rudy (born January 7, 1989) is a German footballer who plays as a striker for SV Heimstetten. He is the brother of Sebastian Rudy. Career Rudy played as a youth for four of southwest Germany's top clubs (VfB Stuttgart, 1899 Hoffenheim, 1. FC Kaiserslautern and Karlsruher SC), but it was with FC 08 Villingen of the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg that he made his breakthrough in senior football. He spent three and a half years with the club, making over a hundred appearances, before joining SpVgg Unterhaching of the 3. Liga in January 2012. He made his debut for the club a month later, as a substitute for Ömer Kanca in a 5–1 defeat to Chemnitzer FC, and made a further five appearances before the end of the season. Oberliga Baden-Württemberg
The Oberliga Baden-Württemberg is the highest association football league in the state of Baden-Württemberg and the Baden-Württemberg football league system. It is one of fourteen Oberligas in German football, the fifth tier of the German football league system. Until the introduction of the 3. Liga in 2008 it was the fourth tier of the league system, and until the introduction of the Regionalligas in 1994 the third tier. Overview The league was formed in 1978 as the highest level of play in the state. Previous to that, the four Amateurligas Nordwürttemberg, Schwarzwald-Bodensee, Südbaden and Nordbaden formed the tier right below the 2nd Bundesliga. The Amateurligas changed their name since into Verbandsliga. The Amateurligas Nordwürttemberg and Schwarzwald-Bodensee merged to form the Verbandsliga Württemberg. Chemnitzer Fußballclub e.V. is a German association football club based in Chemnitz, Saxony. The club competes in Regionalliga Nordost, the fourth tier of German football. The roots of the club go back to its establishment as Chemnitzer BC 1933, following the financial collapse of former Chemnitzer BC 1899. History The club was initially formed by students from Mittweida as Chemnitzer SC Britannia on 2 December 1899. On 28 January 1900, Chemnitzer SC Britannia was a founding member of the German Football Association (DFB) in Leipzig. During April the same year, the club changed its name to Chemnitzer BC 1899.
