Florian Krumpöck (born 1978) is an Austrian pianist and conductor. Life Krumpöck is the son of a cellist and an art historian. Krumpöck as pianist Among his pianistic teachers were Rudolf Buchbinder, Gerhard Oppitz, Elisabeth Leonskaja and Daniel Barenboim. Krumpöck's pianistic repertoire includes complete cycles of works, such as Johann Sebastian Bach's The Well-Tempered Clavier or the 32 piano sonatas and the five piano concertos by Ludwig van Beethoven, as well as numerous world premieres and first performances, for example of Korngold, Wellesz and Schreker. Krumpöck has performed among others in Zurich, Vienna, Salzburg, Munich and Moscow as well as in Israel, the USA, China and South Korea and has been a guest at international festivals such as the Salzburg Festival, the Salzburg Easter Festival, the Bregenz Festival, the Bad Kissingen Music Summer, the Bach Festival in Leipzig, the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Music Festival and the KlangBogen Wien. Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra
The Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra (Hebrew: התזמורת הסימפונית ירושלים, ''ha-Tizmoret ha-Simfonit Yerushalayim'') is a major orchestra of Israel. Since the 1980s, the JSO has been based in the Henry Crown Symphony Hall, part of the Jerusalem Theater complex. History The Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, now in its 85rd season, was founded as the Palestine Broadcasting Service Orchestra in the late 1930s. In 1948 it became the national radio orchestra and was known as the “Kol Israel Orchestra”. In the 1970s, the orchestra was expanded into the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, Israel Broadcasting Authority. The Norddeutsche Philharmonie Rostock, based in Rostock, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany, is the state's largest symphony orchestra and also the orchestra of the Volkstheater Rostock. Founded in 1897, the orchestra grew to 90 musicians by 1991. They were rewarded a prize for ambitious programs in 1993. The Stadttheater Bremerhaven (Bremerhaven municipal theatre) is a theatre in Bremerhaven, Germany. Founded in 1867, it serves three genres: opera and other musical theatre, spoken plays, and dance.
