Floda, Lerum
Floda is a locality situated in Lerum Municipality, Västra Götaland County, Sweden. It had 8,021 inhabitants in 2010 and is situated 54 meters above sea level at Lake Sävelångens entrance to River Säveån. Floda has a station on the Gothenburg commuter rail system, Alingsås line. The station house was completed in 1903, but has gone through many changes since then. Skallsjö Church in Floda was built in 1861–1863 to replace what today is the Skallsjö Church ruins, situated two kilometers to the south-west of the church. The oldest parts of the original Skallsjö Church was built in the 13th century (1200-1299). Floda BoIF is a Swedish football club located in Floda, Lerum, near Gothenburg. Background Since their foundation on 11 February 1935 Floda Boll-och Idrottsförening has participated mainly in the middle and lower divisions of the Swedish football league system. The club currently plays in Division 4 Göteborg A, which is the sixth tier of Swedish football, following two successive relegations in 2006 and 2007. Alingsås
Alingsås () is a locality and the seat of Alingsås Municipality in Västra Götaland County, Sweden. It had 24,482 inhabitants in 2010. Geography Geographically the city is situated by the outlet of the small rivulet Säveån into lake Mjörn. Transportation links are provided by the western main line railway (''Västra stambanan'') between Stockholm and Gothenburg, and by motorway through the European route E20. Next to Alingsås you can also find a small village called Sollebrunn. History Alingsås was founded as inhabitants from the city Nya Lödöse were made homeless as Danish troops burnt it down. Gothenburg commuter rail ( sv, Göteborgs pendeltåg) is the commuter rail system associated with Gothenburg, Sweden. The trains use the main-line tracks, shared with long-distance trains and freight trains. They are operated with X11 and X61 electric multiple units.
