''Flesh Power Dominion'' (typeset as ''FLESH_POWER_DOMINION'') is the third studio album by Callenish Circle and the band's first album to be released through Metal Blade Records. It was released in 2002 along with a digipak edition that contained two bonus tracks. The name is a movie quote by " Pinhead" from the movie '' Hellraiser III''. Callenish Circle
Callenish Circle was an extreme metal band from the Netherlands. They recorded three of their albums for Metal Blade Records, and broke up in February 2007. In the early 2000s things were going well for the band. In 2002 they toured with God Dethroned, played at the Dutch version of Ozzfest and the German Party San Open Air, and opened for Dimmu Borgir. Their fourth album was released by Metal Blade in 2003; to support it they played that year's Wacken Open Air and Summer Breeze festivals in Germany, and in October they were part of the Bonded By Metal Over Europe-tour, headlined by Exodus, Nuclear Assault, and Agent Steel. George Kooymans
George Jan Kooymans (born 11 March 1948, The Hague, Netherlands) is a Dutch guitarist and vocalist. He is best known for his work with the Dutch group Golden Earring. Kooymans wrote "Twilight Zone (Golden Earring song), Twilight Zone", the group's only Top 10 Pop Single on the US Billboard Hot 100, ''Billboard'' Hot 100, which hit No. 1 on the ''Billboard'' Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks, Top Album Tracks chart. Kooymans also wrote and produced for other artists. In 2017 and 2018 he released two albums as a member of Vreemde Kostgangers (Strange Boarders), a Dutch-language supergroup he formed with Henny Vrienten (bass player of the band Doe Maar) and singer-songwriter Boudewijn de Groot. In February, 2021, Kooymans announced that he was suffering from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and would retire. Shortly afterward, Golden Earring announced they would disband. Barry Hay
Barry Andrew Hay (born 16 August 1948) is an Indian-born Dutch musician; he was the lead vocalist and frontman of Dutch rock band Golden Earring from 1967 until their disbandment in 2021. Biography Hay was born in Faizabad, India, to a Dutch-Jewish mother, Sofia Maria née Sluijter (1922–2004, born in Makassar), and a Scottish commissioned officer, Philip Aubrey Hay (1923–1980). He moved to the Netherlands at the age of eight to live with his mother. He lived in Amsterdam and later in The Hague, attending an English boarding school. After graduating from secondary school, he took courses at the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague. Music career and voice acting Hay started his music career with a band called The Haigs. Golden Earring (originally known as The Tornados) was a Dutch rock band, founded in 1961 in The Hague as The Golden Earrings. They achieved worldwide fame with their international hit songs "Radar Love" in 1973, which went to number one on the Dutch charts, reached the top ten in the United Kingdom, and went to number thirteen on the United States charts, " Twilight Zone" in 1982, and "When the Lady Smiles" in 1984. During their career they had nearly 30 top-ten singles on the Dutch charts and released 25 studio albums. Chuck Schuldiner
Charles Schuldiner (born May 13, 1967 – December 13, 2001) was an American musician. He founded the death metal band Death in 1983, in which he was the lead vocalist, guitarist, primary songwriter and only consistent member until his death in 2001. His obituary in the January 5, 2002 issue of UK's ''Kerrang!'' magazine described him as "one of the most significant figures in the history of metal." Schuldiner was ranked No. 10 in Joel McIver's book ''The 100 Greatest Metal Guitarists'' in 2009 and No. 20 in March 2004 ''Guitar World''s "The 100 Greatest Metal Guitarists". In 1987, Schuldiner founded the publishing company Mutilation Music, affiliated with performance rights organization BMI. Schuldiner died in 2001 of a brain tumor. Death is considered to be among the most influential bands in heavy metal music and a pioneering force in death metal. ''Leprosy'' is the second studio album by American death metal band Death, released on August 12, 1988, by Combat Records. The album is notable in its different tone and quality from the band's 1987 debut, it is the first example of Scott Burns' work heard on many of the death metal and grindcore albums of that era. The cover is featured in '' Metal: A Headbanger's Journey''. It is the first album to feature drummer Bill Andrews and the only one to feature guitarist Rick Rozz. In a poll by the German ''Rock Hard'' magazine, ''Leprosy'' was voted the number one of the 25 most important death metal albums of all time. Pinhead (Hellraiser)
Pinhead (also known as Lead Cenobite or the Hell Priest, among other names and titles) is the main antagonist of the ''Hellraiser'' franchise. The character first appeared as an unnamed figure in the 1986 Clive Barker novella ''The Hellbound Heart''. When Clive Barker adapted the novella into the 1987 film ''Hellraiser'', he referred to the character in early drafts as "the Priest" but the final film gave no name. The production and make-up crew nicknamed the character "Pinhead"—derived from his bald head studded with nails—and fans accepted the sobriquet. The name was then used in press materials, tie-in media, and on-screen in some of the film's sequels, although Barker himself despises the moniker.
