Alexander Dennis Enviro400 MMC
The Alexander Dennis Enviro400 MMC (sold as the Alexander Dennis Enviro400) is a low-floor bus, low-floor double-decker bus produced by the British bus manufacturer Alexander Dennis since 2014, replacing the Alexander Dennis Enviro400. The Enviro400 MMC is produced at Alexander Dennis' Falkirk and Scarborough, North Yorkshire, Scarborough factories in the United Kingdom. The Enviro400 MMC is available as a complete integral bus – including an alternative styling, the Enviro400 City – or as a bus bodywork on Scania AB, Scania and Volvo Buses, Volvo chassis. A tri-axle variant, known as the Enviro400 XLB, is also produced. Winchester Science Centre (previously known as INTECH) is a hands-on, interactive, science and technology centre located in Morn Hill, just outside the city of Winchester in Hampshire, England. Countryliner was a bus and coach operator, based in Uckfield, England. It ran over fifty bus services, mainly operating in Sussex and Kent with some operations into Hampshire. Ash, Surrey
Ash is a village and civil parish in the far west of the borough of Guildford, Surrey. Ash is on the eastern side of the River Blackwater, with a station on the Reading-Guildford-Gatwick line, and direct roads to Aldershot, Farnham and Guildford. The 2011 census counted the residents of the main ward of Ash, which excludes Ash Vale, as 6,120. Stagecoach Gold is a luxury bus sub-brand used by various Stagecoach bus subsidiaries in the United Kingdom. Stagecoach Gold (originally Goldline) was launched in 2007 and was designed to attract more middle-class passengers to choose bus travel as a method of transport as well as to reward passengers on some busy and popular routes. Stagecoach Gold route 1 is a bus route in southern England that links Camberley and Frimley in Surrey and Farnborough and Aldershot in Hampshire. The service is run by Stagecoach in Hants & Surrey. History The first bus journeys between Aldershot and Farnborough were established by the Aldershot & Farnborough Motor Omnibus Company (A&FMOC) in 1906, which ran half-hourly services through the military camp. In 1912, the A&FMOCL was purchased by the British Automobile Traction Company Limited and the company became the Aldershot & District Traction Company (nicknamed ''Tracco''). The route 1 began operations in 1921, running between Aldershot and Egham. The Old Dean is a suburb of Camberley in Surrey, England. The area starts approximately 1 km boxing the compass, NNE from the town centre. The estate is built on the Olddean or Old Dean common land, Common falling within the district of Surrey Heath Borough Council. Godalming
Godalming is a market town and civil parish in southwest Surrey, England, around southwest of central London. It is in the Borough of Waverley, at the confluence of the Rivers Wey and Ock. Camberley
Camberley is a town in the Borough of Surrey Heath in Surrey, England, approximately south-west of Central London. Alder Valley was a bus operator in South East England. National Bus Company era Alder Valley was formed when National Bus Company (NBC) subsidiaries Aldershot & District Traction (A&D) and Thames Valley Traction (TV) merged on 1 January 1972. The name Alder Valley was an amalgamation of the former names, but not representing any geographical feature or area. Despite the merger, the company initially maintained two divisions: Reading, covering the former TV area, and Aldershot, covering A&D's area, each of which continued to issue its own timetable booklet.
