First Macedonian Football League
The Macedonian First Football League ( mk, Прва македонска фудбалска лига, ''Prva Мakedonska Fudbalska Liga''), also called Macedonian First League, 1. MFL, and Prva Liga, is the highest professional football competition in North Macedonia. It is a professional league competition for football clubs located at the top of the Macedonian football league system and has been operating since the 1992–93 season. It is organized by the Football Federation of North Macedonia. Format Throughout the 1. MFL history, the number of clubs competing at the top level has been gradually decreased until the 2020–21 season. 1992–93 Macedonian First Football League
The 1992–93 Macedonian First League was the first season of the Macedonian First Football League, the highest football league of Macedonia. It was the initial season, after Republic of Macedonia's independence from Yugoslavia. The first matches of the season were played on 23 August 1992 and the last on 13 June 1993. Vardar won the first championship title without loss. FK Rabotnički
FK Rabotnichki ( mk, ФК Работнички) or more commonly Rabotnički (old transliteration) and Rabotnicki is a football club that plays at the Toshe Proeski Arena in Skopje, North Macedonia. They currently compete in the Macedonian First League. History FK Rabotnichki was founded in 1937 as SK Radnički Skoplje. It is widely regarded as the ‘railway football club’. It started competing in the 1938–39 Second League of the Skoplje Football Subassociation which finished 4th out of 5 teams. FK Makedonija Gjorče Petrov ( mk, ФК Македонија Ѓорче Петров), commonly referred to as FK Makedonija G.P. FC Struga
FC Struga Trim-Lum ( mk, ФК Струга Трим-Лум, ''FK Struga Trim-Lum'') is a football club based in Struga, North Macedonia. They are currently competing in the Macedonian First League. History The club was founded in 2015 participating in the 4th Macedonian Football Division and winning it in the 2015–16 season gaining promotion in the Macedonian Third League. Klubi i Futbollit Shkëndija () commonly known as Shkëndija, is a football club based in Tetovo, North Macedonia. Their home stadium is Ecolog Arena and they currently play in the Macedonian First League. In the 2010–11 season of the Macedonian First Football League, the club won its first major championship. History SFRY Period KF Shkëndija was formed on 27 August 1979 by ethnic Albanians from Tetovo. FK Sileks ( mk, ФК Силекс) is a football club based in Kratovo, North Macedonia who play in the Macedonian First League. History The club was founded in 1965. Sileks biggest accomplishment in 90s came in the Yugoslav Cup where they reached the quarter-final. It was a remarkable achievement considering they defeated both Sarajevo teams, FK Željezničar and FK Sarajevo in back to back rounds. Since the formation of the First Macedonian Football League, they played at top level from the start until their relegation in 2013. FK Bregalnica Štip ( mk, ФК Брегалница Штип) is a football club based in Štip, North Macedonia. They are currently competing in the Macedonian First League. History FK Bregalnica was formed in 1921 and currently plays in the Macedonian First League. Their nickname is The Blues because the club colours are all blue. They play their games at Ground Bregalnica Arena Shtip with Capacity of 4,000 sits. FK Pobeda AD Prilep ( mk, ФК Победа АД Прилеп) is a football club based in the city of Prilep, North Macedonia. They are currently competing in the Macedonian First League. History The club was founded in 2010 as Viktorija (eventually renaming to Pobeda Junior) after the FK Pobeda was banned by FIFA for eight years. Legally, the two clubs' track records and honors are kept separate by the Football Federation of Macedonia. In 2015, Pobeda Junior was renamed to match the name of the old club that was suspended, Pobeda. Fudbalska Akademija Pandev ( mk, Фудбалска Академија Пандев), commonly known as Akademija Pandev ( mk, Академија Пандев), is a football club based in Strumica, North Macedonia which competes in the Macedonian First League. History The academy was founded in 2010 by the Macedonian football player Goran Pandev, after whom the Academy was named. As of 2014, Akademija Pandev has a senior team competing in the Macedonian senior leagues. In 2017, the senior team was promoted to the Macedonian First League for the first time in its history. Campionato Sammarinese di Calcio (English translation: Sammarinese Football Championship) is an amateur league competition for football clubs located at the only level of the Sammarinese football league system (no relegation system exists) and has been operating since the 1985–1986 season. The First League of Montenegro ( Montenegrin: ''Prva crnogorska fudbalska liga'' — ''Prva CFL'' — ''1. CFL''; ) is the top football league in Montenegro.
